Everything was perfect . Mustafa at reception upgraded us to a wonderful suite with an amazing view over the Nile . The most comfortable beds on our entire Egypt trip . The restaurant was great . We stayed at this lovely hotel in a river-facing suite on the top floor, and the views from our room were stunning. You can enjoy the sunset from your room. The staff were very helpful, and Mohamed from housekeeping made sure our room was perfectly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Clean, modern and beautiful hotel

Fabulous hotel - clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our suite was huge for a family of 4. Separate bathroom, dressing room with laundry, small kitchen with full appliances, huge picture window out to Cairo and very comfortable beds. We had everything we needed. Hotel staff in the restaurants were also very helpful and service, while a little slow, was good. We dined for breakfast, lunch and dinner at 2 different restaurants over our 4 day stay.

Good place to stay

Professional, friendly staff ready to do what it took to make us comfortable. Spacious suite, but the city view is not good. Very good breakfast, attentive staff, nice view of restaurants. I would have loved to hear some Egyptian music in the restaurants but it was always western music.

Positive: wonderful breakfast and dinner buffet. Amazing view from room The one bedroom suite was huge and comfortable. Great amenities : love having a washing machine! Great location Close to grocery store and bank Very friendly and helpful staff Negative: heavily perfumed hallways. This seems to be common in north Africa/ Middle east.

Gym was not well equipped. Barbell: 5kg, 10kg, 15kg. Nothing between! Old rusty and not good, sorry. Room was sticky, walking barefoot from the shower to the bed and I had different things sticked to my feet. Very noisy from the street because the windows are cheap and not insulating. Breakfast: very simple and every day exactly the same. Not even water melon or cheap stuff. For 5 stars, it's not good.

Great Location

The Nile view suite was amazing. The service and friendliness of the staff wonderful. Super safe area. Great food. Negatives: The hotel is not smoke free and the smell of cigarettes is everywhere. They need to close the door to the lounge where smoking is allowed. They use a very heavy air freshener. Carpet in the room should be replaced with a hard floor covering.

The hospitality of the staff was excellent and the location was easy to find. The only disappointment was that the walls between us and our neighbors were thin and we could hear the noise well, and the windows were not double-glazed, so the noise from cars on the main road was very loud.

A great place to stay

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days while we were travelling in Egypt. We chose a suite overlooking the Nile. Our room was amazing. It was large clean and comfortable. We have an great view of the Nile and on clear days we could see the pyramids of Giza. The staff were kind and helpful. Customer relations representative, Maryam was especially helpful. It was an added bonus to have a washer and dryer in our suite as it allowed us to pack less clothes for the trip. We signed up for the breakfast buffets. They had an excellent selection of foods including made to order omelettes. We ate dinner in some of their restaurants and always enjoyed good food.

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality at Holiday Inn Maadi was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and every interaction was warm and professional. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and flavorful dishes. The rooftop pool and lounge area were perfect for relaxing after a busy day in the city, and the hotel’s location made it easy to reach both downtown Cairo and local attractions.
