“This place is nothing like what we expected. Which wanted a two bedroom suite. We ended up getting a room way out in the middle of nowhere in the boondocks and the room was terrible. One of the bedrooms had box springs for the bed instead of a mattress. The floor, which was dirty, was lifting up from the ground on parts of the room. No parking. The pool was a joke. Never again.”

“Pros: We’ve just returned from a very enjoyable 2 week stay at Villa Beatriz. The villa is lovely, well equipped and spacious. Nice pool area and comfortable sun loungers for relaxing. The villa was clean and well kept and the hosts were very helpful. We had to contact the hosts a couple of times during the 2 weeks, once when the downstairs air conditioning wasn’t working and once when we had no hot water due to a boiler issue but both times they were incredibly helpful, quick to respond and had……

“Pros: Spacious apartment, well equipped, all modern cons, a real home from home. Swimming pool was a great size within well kept grounds and good sun beds. Outside terrace was lovely for pre-dinner drinks, eating alfresco or rest in shades. Location was good as easy walk to the resort centre with great restaurants. Carmen who helps owner on site was very nice, responding to queries promptly.”

“All the reviews I read about this property were spot on - you can’t beat the location! It’s a beautiful space and spacious enough for a family of 4 to relax. My suggestion for the owner/property manager - for 600/night please include a kitchen sponge and dish soap. Some of the dishes weren’t clean and had coffee residue in the mugs. The dish towels were old which added to the feeling of not being clean in the kitchen. Other than that it was really lovely. ”

“The setting was great being quiet but close enough to places like the marina. The host was excellent and always around to answer questions. We loved the property, particularly its layout and the gardens, dominated by the pool. This was in many ways our hub during our stay. Certain features of the villa were dated - bathroom fittings although the downstairs toilet was well appointed. ”
