Rustic rural charm

We so enjoyed our stay! My husband & I and another couple appreciated the central location and fresh vegetables from the garden, ideal for exploring the countryside just south and west of Palermo. Great “home base” to explore Marsala to the west, Selinunte to the south, Castellamare del Golfo and Vito de Capo to the north, and the nearby towns of Salemi and Calatafimi Segesta. Friendly and helpful host, great value, and convenient location.

Great holidays!!

The owner is there to help you with everything, huge house where you can sleep very well even if outside is hot. The garden is lovely. Perfect to stay with the kids

Great experience of Sicilian countryside

We stayed 5 nights at this property. It is in good location: 30 min. from Trapani airport, about an hour from Palermo, an hour or so from Marsala. So, it is ideal for one day Sicilian sightseeing trips, for example Cefalu or Erice, not to mention that there is a very interesting archeological site not far from the house (a couple of km). The house itself is well equipped and has a grill, which always comes in hand (it certainly did for us) considering a very nice fish market in Trapani. Of course this property is more than just a house in good location - it gives a great experience of Sicilian countryside. It has been a while since I have been woken up by a rooster. But the greatest treat of our stay was Andrea's hospitality and kindness. We were lucky as Andrea supplied us with with delicious vegetables, tasty wines and olive oil to die and kill for. Thank you, Andrea. Hope we will see you soon

Very nice situated house with all facilities.

We have been in te house for 1 week with two families (7 persons). The first thing noticed at arrival is the location of the house on a large property in the middle of a green valley. Perfect view and surrounded by orange trees and other fuits that are free to get. The house itself is very specious with large bedrooms and provided with basic furniture and facilities. As the property is in the middle of the west side of the Island it is a perfect starting place to explore the western part of Sicily. To complete your stay the friendly owner will provide fresh vegetables and other fine local foods. For sure a recommendation to enjoy your holiday!

Nous n'étions que 5, la maison est très grande. Un peu froide en hiver. Nous avons chauffé les pièces où nous étions. Le propriétaire très gentil nous avait réservé tout ce qu'il fallait pour dîner à notre arrivée. La maison est facile d'accès, très calme au milieu des orangers et oliviers.

Un séjour idéal à conseiller

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison dont la description et le cadre nous ont satisfaits ainsi que l'accueil si délicat et sympathique. Un bel endroit très agréable s’accorde bien avec le propriétaire tellement généreux et plaisant. Les prestations sont excellentes et l’ambiance favorable à un séjour très apprécié et serein. Nous ne pouvons pas commenter les activités ni la restauration que nous n'avons pas pratiquées, mais avons prisé les qualités touristiques du lieu et de ses environs.

"comme en famille!!"

Un accueil "comme à la maison" chez un Sicilien attentionné qui se met en 4 pour que nos vacances se passent agréablement ! (frigo rempli de légumes frais, de vin de fromage...et de coca(!), pizza déjà précuite pour ceux qui atterrissent tard ...) vraiment voilà un hôte qui fait cela plus pour le plaisir de la rencontre que pour les sous!(et si vous l'invitez, il vous partagera ses meilleures recettes, en italien espagnol,français, anglais, ou/et ..avec les mains!!!) La maison est dans un cadre bucolique,dans la Sicile profonde, loin des hordes touristiques, mais très accessible via l'autoroute à toutes les curiosités! Une excellente adresse, à recommander!

Jolie maison entourée d'orangers et de citronniers, Andréa est une personne très gentille et toujours à l'écoute de ses locataires avec qui nous avons tissé des lien d'amitié et que nous esperons revoir l'année prochaine La maison est très spacieuse,agréable avec son grand jardin ou les légumes poussent à profusions et que nous pouvions recolter pour notre propre consommation. Nous avons passés des vacances de rève car nous etions loin du bruit et de la cohue des grandes villes et pourtant nous n'etions pas si loin de Trapani. Andrea baci della Mama et di noi.

Definitely Returning

The Location was Perfect, We found the house was ideally located for travelling to all the beaches and Historical sites. The Local town of Calatafimi Segesta is only a couple of minutes away and has several small supermarkets and shops. The Children loved picking fruit from the trees on the property and swimming. The House was absolutely spotless, everything you would want or need at home was provided by the AMAZING & WONDERFUL host Andrea....We were so blessed to spend an evening together while Andrea cooked for us. An absolute perfect ending to a perfect holiday in a perfect home.

Dans la campagne sicilienne

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable dans un gite simple et au calme au milieu des orangers et des oliviers accompagnés par le chant des oiseaux le matin. Sa situation permet de rayonner facilement dans tout l’ouest de la Sicile, mais l’autoroute n’est pas loin si l’on veut aller plus loin. Le propriétaire est gentil est prévenant et nous a apporté gracieusement d’excellents produits de sa ferme. Il est aussi toujours prêt à rendre service et nous a loué sa voiture pour quelques jours en toute confiance.

We had a fantastic holiday in Calatafimi. The house was just what we were looking for, very clean, in lovely surroundings. People were very friendly and welcoming and Andrea couldn't have been a nicer or more helpful. We will certainly go back in the future.

assolutamente consigliabile

Sistemazione ottimale per chi vuole visitare la Sicilia più autentica, lontano dalla confusione della costa: la casa è perfetta sia dal punto di vista logistico (si raggiungono facilmente i siti archeologici, le spiagge e le città d'arte del Trapanese) che dal punto di vista del confort (spaziosa, fresca, silenziosa, immersa nella natura, prodotti dell'orto a disposizione degli ospiti). Particolarmente consigliabile alle famiglie con bambini (noi vi abbiamo soggiornato comodamente in 8). Indimenticabile l'ospitalità e la gentilezza del proprietario, al di sopra di ogni aspettativa.

"Ruime en propere woning ...

"Ruime en propere woning met het vereiste basiscomfort. Mooi gelegen in een citrusgaard. Het straat- en omgevingslawaai is zeer beperkt en hindert dus niet. Zeer gastvrije en hulpvaardige eigenaar. Goede uitvalsbasis voor het westelijk deel van Sicilië."
