"Beware they charge u a deposit of $60 cash when you get there. Then try to pin any little thing wrong w the place so make aure to take pic an report anything you see asap. There was a burn on the side of the bed on the sheets. I went reported it asap the girl saod she would make a note about it. Went to check out an they said she made no note of it and tried to keep my $. I said hell no you better call that girl cause that aint my problem that she didn't make a note i took pics an got name. After raising hell (cause i didnt do it) i was finally able to get my deposit back. So if you go here take pics an make sure they put it in their system "

"Loved this property! Rooms and public space have charm and are thoughtful in every detail. Location is PERFECT for anyone wanting to be near TAMU or just have lots or dining and shopping options. "

"The room met my basic requirements: safety, security, working air conditioner and TV. Motel staff were friendly however this is the first place I've ever stayed in my life where they wanted a $60 cash-only deposit (lucky I had three $20s). Then when I checked out, I had to wait because they wanted to check my room -- another first-ever. Wireless Internet was very fast ("Wi-Fi 6") and the TV had a great selection of channels. Shampoo is not complimentary but they offered to sell me theirs in the lobby for $2/each. I'm afraid the biggest turnoff was the quality of the towels: after my shower, I was drying off and lots of tiny bits of dust and towel shedded and you could see it in the regular bathroom light. When I looked in the mirror, I had tiny white pieces of towel dotting my body. I felt dirty all over again. So that would be the only reason I would not stay again."

"When we first arrived my son and husband couldn’t believe that I booked this “hotel” but I thought the place was fun and cute. My husband was worried about safety being it was more of a Motel style place. The property is clean, nice and the decor is fun! If it had been warm we would have utilized the outdoor games! The room was clean and smelled good. My only complaint would be the bed, it was FIRM! Zero bounce! Not comfy at all. But it made for a nice fun stay for the night! Staff was friendly! "

"If there was a lower rating I would have given it Booked hotel 10 am they didn’t call to cancel the room until after 4 pm they had over booked we had 2 reservations …they refused to let us cancel the 1 room that they didn’t overbook …we were all in the same vehicle …management would never return my call or speak to me directly "

"We had a great stay at The George in College Station. The first thing you notice is the incredible signature scent in the lobby . . . the whole place smells amazing. The rooms were very spacious, modern, and comfortable with plenty of amenities, and the bathrooms were large with nice complimentary products. The bar looked like a great spot to grab a drink, and the location is perfect with valet parking or a garage close by. The moving sheep were hilarious and such a fun, quirky touch that made the stay even more memorable. Would definitely stay here again!"
