This was excellent value. It was clean and the front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. I will likely stay again soon. My favourite part was how clean the room smelled when I opened the door.

We had arrived late in the evening as our flight had been delayed. When we tried to put on the television to relax we found it was not working correctly. We called down to the front desk and the gentleman working there kindly offered to switch our rooms, but we were too exhausted. The following day I spoke to the lady at the front desk and suggested that it may be that batteries needed changing in the remote and left the remote with her. She seemed quite disinterested but did send a young man later to return the remote to our room with a fresh set of batteries. It did not solve the problem so later that day the gentleman in charge of maintenance came to our room to see what could be done to fix the television. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. After some time he determined that it would be necessary to replace the TV, which he kindly did. The following day we attempted to take the elevator down to the first floor when it suddenly stopped and would not open. We used the elevator phone to call for help and after several minutes help did arrive. Again, the same maintenance man was on hand and was instrumental in getting us out. Although we did not again take the elevator during our stay, we did note that some serious work was being done to repair it. Besides the very congenial maintenance man and the man at the front desk when we first arrived, the staff did not seem particularly friendly nor welcoming. We would not choose this hotel again.
