“The problem was that this isn't a hotel, it is a bed and breakfast with a couple of bedrooms. When I arrived just after 3pm there was nobody there. The owner (who was a pleasant man) normally did not accept arrivals until 4pm. Also, it is located on the oldest street in town, a very, very steep heavily cobbled street only accessible on foot. It us very pretty but difficult to access with luggage. Having said that it is very pretty and my room was quaint but good.”

When we request for hair dryer, the front dest told that we have to wait until the next morning because everyone requested for it... and the hair dryer disappeared after we return hotel, seems the hotel staff entered our room without asking?”

“We enjoyed our stay. We had a superior cottage room which was very spacious although no real view from the balcony The spa pools were very well done but very busy - probably too busy. The weather was very hot so the pools were full not only with hotel guests but also spa guests. We ate in the fine dining restaurant and the crêperie ie the same small restaurant which has a different approach at lunchtime and in the evening. Both very good. The bar and terrace were also a lovely place to……

“A very lovely hotel in the very heart of the walled city on the edge of one of the main squares; a hub for eating, drinking and people watching. The rooms vary a little and we fortuitously ended up with a room on a corner of the square and building, which had two balconies!! Beautiful. We ate good food in the their main restaurant on the square. Very peaceful and engaging. The breakfast was a little disappointing; over priced for the range offered, but overall it was an excellent place to……
