My dream came true to visit Normandy and the Beach my dad landed on in WWII>Omaha Beach The property was a serendipity experience for us as we used it as a base to explore. We rented a car from Bayeux so we had transport, the house had everything we needed for our 14 day stay and any problem(dryer issue) was immediately addressed. "This cottage is simply the best. Easy to find. The owners Jean Yves and Elisabeth are lovely. They speak good English and meet you on arrival/checking out. We stayed in contact with them during our stay as well. The cottage is so clean. Lots of attention to detail. Lovely sympathetically restored barn with oak beams (and not a cobweb in sight!!). The garden is very large and had a remote automatic lawnmower which kept our little girl entertained like a pet! Apple trees also in the garden. Lots...

"The property is ideally situated for both a walking and sightseeing holiday. It is very well equipped with lots of information about local activities, with a well stocked kitchen making it easy to eat at home. Thank you hosts definitely 5* !"

"We loved the property, it had all the basics we required. The only down side was that access is via an alleyway which was difficult to navigate (and find) with suitcases and young children. The local area around the gite was great and this would suit couples or adults without children "

"We stayed at this property for 2 nights in October and literally my ONLY regret was why the heck I didn’t book for a longer stay! It was absolute perfection! Property manager was excellent with communication and he and his spouse met us at check in and gave us a tour of their GORGEOUS property! "We really enjoyed our time @ this tiny home: it was cozy and very well decorated! You really feel like you're the only one in the world with all the space around you. The garden and surroundings are amazing and very spacious. The fact that the house has no electricity was a little bit of a surprise (found that out via another posting), but there is a battery available and we made it work! All in all: we enjoyed our time there a lot!"
