Great location for day trips

Our stay was wonderful! Michele really cares about your comfort and was a very communicative host. The location was perfect for day trips and it was nice to come back to the quiet village. Il Rifugio restaurant was just perfect and very inexpensive.

Staying with locals

My family of 6 stayed for 1 week at this beautiful property. Nestled in a small hilltop village we experienced life with the local Italians. We were just steps away from a cafe and butcher. Relaxing in the garden you can hear life in the streets and children in the school next door. Michel was a great host who made us feel welcome and comfortable. The location was very good for day trips to Naples, Paestum, Salerno, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii.

Quiet oasis in the middle of a small village

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment with garden in the middle of a small village. The apt has its own entrance, is fully equipped and very cozy. The property is fenced in with safe parking on the property. With a car, you can easily take trips to the Vesuv, Salerno, Amalfi coast, Pompeii, ... We can recommend the place without hesitation

Le calme à l'état pur

Cette villa est parfaite et très bien située. On est loin de la grande ville mais près de toutes les villes et sites à visiter. Je la recommande les yeux fermés. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et disponibles.

Sehr schön!

Der Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung in Calvanico war sehr schön. Die Wohnung war sehr geräumig und sehr schön eingerichtet, es war alles sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Durch die Möglichkeit, die Läden zu schließen, konnte man es in der Wohnung auch tagsüber bei angenehmen Temperaturen gut aushalten. Der Vermieter war außergewöhnlich freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit! Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Schöner gepflegter Garten

Der Ort Calvanico liegt relativ weit oben in den Bergen. Im Mai war es deshalb teilweise noch etwas kühl. Auch Regenwolken fangen sich gerne in den umliegenden Gipfeln . Als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Amalfiküste und der Orte Neapel und Salerno ist die Wohnung gut geeignet. Der gepflegte Garten ist für Kinder gut zum Spielen geeignet da er vollkommen eingezäunt ist.

Really pleasant house and garden on a strategic location just behind the coast!

We had a very good stay. The house is very complete, well equipped and spacious in a small town in the mountain, with a grocery store and a good butcher. The owner is helpful and kind. We visited Paestum, Pompeï, Herculaneum, Napoli, Amalfi, Salerno and Castellabate all within 1,5 hrs drive.

Es war einfach nur schön! Es ist eine gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit großer Küche und zwei schönen Schlafräumen. Der Garten und die Umgebung ist sehr schön und ruhig. Der Gastgeber war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

schönes Ferienhaus/great vacation home

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und hat eine tolle Ausstattung - es fehlt an nichts. Der Ofen heizt wunderbar! Alles ist sehr sauber und angenehm. Das Haus verfügt über ein Privatgrundstück, auf dem man Kinder unbedenklich rumlaufen lassen kann. Die Bar direkt oberhalb des Hauses verkauft leckere traditionelle paste di castagna und der Besitzer ist immer für einen guten Schwatz zu haben. Im "Il Rifugio" im Nachbarort kann man sehr gut und unglaublich günstig essen. Michele ist ein netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen. The house is spacious and very well equipped. The furnace heats up nicely. Everything is comfortable and very clean. The house has its own private property where you can allow your children to run around freely without worrying about traffic. The bar directly up the street sells very tasty traditional paste di castagna and the owner is always up for a nice chat. The food at "Il Rifugio" in the neighboring village is very good and incredibly inexpensive. Michele is a friendly and accommodationg host. We can warmly recommend this place.

Magnifique villa

Nous rentrons enchantés de notre séjour à Calvanico. La villa Lilas est une magnifique demeure du 17èmè siècle agréablement restaurée avec goût par son propriétaire et très bien située à égale distance entre les sites à visiter. le propriétaire est une personne très dévouée et à l'écoute de ses hôtes. IL ne compte pas son temps pour satisfaire les vacanciers et les aider en toutes circonstances. Merci Michel pour ton dévouement et tes précieux conseils. Micheline

Une imposture !

En presque 10 ans de locations estivales via Abritel, c'est la première fois que nous tombons sur une pareille imposture à commencer par la photo d'accueil qui représente non la location elle-même mais l'entrée propriétaire. Seule une toute petite partie de la maison avec entrée (bien plus modeste !) par l'arrière est louée et cette location ne dispose pas de 3 chambres mais de 2 avec, dans la seconde, une mezzanine où se trouvent deux lits supplémentaires. Se rajoute une cuisine où le propriétaire a installé un canapé lit et une télévision (avec que des chaines italiennes et donc pas du tout internationales comme prétendu !) donc, au final une cuisine-salon-salle à manger qui est néanmoins le seul endroit où fonctionne la connexion internet ! De plus, ces 3 pièces au total sont en enfilade ce qui veut dire qu'on ne peut passer de la chambre avec mezzanine à la cuisine sans traverser l'autre chambre !!!! Rajoutons que le ménage n'est pas optionnel mais obligatoire car le propriétaire envoie, bien sûr après le délai de résiliation donc quelques jours avant l'arrivée, un contrat prévoyant un versement obligatoire pour le ménage. Une immense déception qui nous a amené à saisir le service client d'Abritel aux fins de correction de l'annonce trompeuse et si nous ne mettons pas une note de zéro, c'est uniquement parce que le grand jardin est la seule chose qui se soit révélée conforme à la description et aux photos même si infesté de moustiques ! En conclusion, une location à éviter absolument !!!!

Un séjour inoubliable

Superbe séjour. La villa possède tout le confort, très propre et spacieuse, sous les noisetiers et est situé à proximité de Salerne, Naples, Pompéi, le Vésuve, Herculanum, Paestum, Capri, etc... Nous nous sommes régalés avec les tomates et le basilic du potager, que le propriétaire nous laissait à disposition. Un accueil très chaleureux, et en Français, et Monsieur DI FALCO est toujours disponible et de bons conseils. Calvanico est un petit village très vivant et très typique de l'Iatlie du sud. Bref que de bons souvenirs!

Spring time get away

We made the villa our home for 2 months over March and April and it was perfect for our needs. The wood burning stove was great in the colder, rainy beginning of March and as soon as the sun came out and all the trees started blooming, we made full use of the garden and bbq. Our 2 year old really enjoyed running around outside and Michele was kind enough to let him use the toys that were downstairs. Michele was always very prompt to reply to messages and offer help above and beyond of what you normally receive. The amalfi coast is a 30-40min drive away and we visited Cetara often and the beach in Vietri su mare too. The islands of procida and capri are also reachable from naples, which in itself is worth a few days wandering around. The farmers market in salerno was amazing and we visited every Saturday to do our vegetable shop (so fresh and half the price of the supermarket). Calvanico has its charm too and a walk up the steep hill to Capo Calvanico is worth the view (on a clear day you can see Ischia). There are so many places to eat but our 2 local haunts were la vetta, around the corner with great pizza and friendly staff, and Nami in Fisciano (more great pizza, and a really cool bar) I would highly recommend both the villa and the area for your trip!

Belles vacances en Campanie

Nous avons passé de belles vacances en famille avec 3 enfants en bas âge dans la maison de Michele, le propriétaire. Michele a toujours été disponible et très réactif avant et pendant notre séjour. Maison bien équipée et adaptée aux familles. La villa est entourée des jolis jardins qui doivent être très agréables l'été, lieu très reposant. La situation de Calvanico, vous permet de vous retrouver dans un lieu calme mais qui rayonne sur les principaux sites touristiques de la Campanie (à environ 1h max): Paestum, Salerne, côte Amalfitaine, Naples, Vésuve, Pompéi, Herculanum,... à conseiller!

Excellent accomodation

A beautiful place to stay. Everything you need for a home from home holiday. Lovely private garden. Near to Pompei, Mount Vesuvius, Paestum and some long sandy beaches (all within 30-45 mins) If you like small, quiet villages with a little bar and excellent Pizza Restaurant then this is a place to recommend.

Prachtige vakantiewoning in rustig dorp.

De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. 's Avonds is het heerlijk toeven in een van de twee schaduwrijke tuinen. Door het elektrische toegangshek kun je de auto veilig parkeren op eigen terrein. Een kleine kruidenierswinkel ligt om de hoek op 2 minuten lopen. Ook een goed restaurant met overkapt terras op enkele minuten lopen. Gastheer Michael is erg behulpzaam.

Séjour très agréable dans une maison confortable (literie, jardin etc...) et très bien équipée (seul manque un grille-pain). Logement situé à une dizaine de minutes de l'auto-route menant à Naples, Pompéï, etc... et à 25 minutes de Salerno où nous avons eu la possibilité de prendre le train pour Naples, le bateau pour Amalfi.... En résumé super logement et propriétaire très sympathique toujours prêt à rendre service. A conseiller sans problème.

Calvanico Villa

Our family of 6, two parents and 4 adult children, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa apartment. It was very clean, the bedrooms were roomy, the view was lovely. The workmanship and furnishings were quality. We enjoy cooking and the small kitchen, which was the only inside common area, was very well equipped. Michael, our host, was organized, easy to reach, available, helpful, and responded quickly to our texts & emails. As this villa is in a mountainous village, we recommend arriving in the daylight as it was not easy to find in the dark! The village is small, but clean and accessible. An ATM machine was across the street and a great pizza restaurant was down the block. A car is definitely needed. Calvanico is a good location for driving to Pompey, Vesuvius, Amalfi Coast and Salerno. Our family enjoyed this villa apartment immensely. Highly recommended.

A Short Drive from Salerno

There was a big front yard with gated private parking. Michael was a great host and very responsive to all our needs. Even when one of us needed a cane, he brought one without our asking. The house was large and clean. The town of Calvanico was beautiful and the people there were very nice. There were stores a block from the house. We would gladly stay there again.

Sono stata in questa villa con la famiglia e i due cani e ci siamo trovati molto bene,villa spettacolare e molto accogliente...le foto rispecchiano la realtà....il proprietario davvero una persona squisita e disponibile...da consigliare assolutamente!!!
