As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced.”

“I booked a family room and the photo showed there is a camping for children inside the room. But there is nothing provided during the actual visit.”

“From the loading bay in front of the property, it’s a step over the pavement to the bar, where there was a welcome and an efficient introduction to the building. Access is easy with a key fob. The room was cosy and clean. I didn’t use the kitchen but it looked clean too. The location is right in the town and there’s a big car park (pay and display) behind it, with very handy EV charging. Being a busy bar, it gets noisy at night. There are good places to eat nearby in the town, and the parkrun……

“Check in was excellent, however the room was cold, only a blow heater. Asked at reception for someone to come and look at heat but someone only came with another heater by did not look at the issue”

Food in the restaurant was very nice both at dinner and breakfast. The hotel had excellent gym facilities. All in all a great short break!”
