“The property is tired.
Some of the staff worked hard. Some were obviously inexperienced. But the big problem was there were not enough capable staff.
Long waiting times for food.
Ordering systems that failed.
Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work.
Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing.
No obvious management.
Fabulous views, great weather.
Frustrating hotel.
We stayed one night. Could not imagine staying longer.

“The bed was not comfortable, would sink in the middle, no firmness. No aircon so extremely uncomfortable and difficult to sleep especially on the top floor during the heatwave. Staff were very helpful and provided a fan. Seagulls would sit on your window, knock and make a racket waking me up every morning between 4-5, noticed the people underneath feeding them.. doesn’t help! Location was good if you were happy to walk 40mins to town. Rooms were clean. Couldn’t adjust the temp of the shower,……
