Beautiful location with delightful water views. We enjoyed canoeing, making smores at the fire pit, going for walks in the woods and just relaxing.Rob and Clarissa great with getting us oriented to the property and available if anything came up. Our granddaughter loved the playhouse as well as the swing and hammock

From beginning to end the entire experience was amazing! Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming. The house was the perfect size for our 8 ppl and 5 dogs. They had everything we needed to spend time on the water. We hope to make regular return visits!

What a wonderful area on the water. The proprietors were such friendly and accommodating people. The apartment was clean and well stocked. They had a wide range of activities on the property. It was wonderful being able to sit near the water and enjoy my friend’s company. I highly recommend this welcoming place.

Memorial Day Weekend- Crabbing adventures

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. Lovely views and the owners were very easygoing and helpful! Lots to do and the house had everything we needed.

Rental vacation that checked all the boxes!

Property ground was huge with plenty of leisure activities to enjoy such as kayaks, dart board, above ground pool, bikes, swing, etc.The most enjoyable part was the private dock where we enjoyed crabbing and fishing, sunset viewing and just plain relaxing. All rooms were nicely organized with clean sheets, linen, towels and toiletries. The icing on the cake was the kindness and generosity of the owners Rob and Clarissa. They made us feel at home and treated us like family in going far beyond what's expected from any vrbo rental owners we have had in the past. Can't wait for our next summer crabbing experience in this mini paradise!

Cambridge Kayak trip

Excellent property and host! It was great bringing our small dog. Kayaking and paddle boarding free on-site. Everything you need for water sports and for living like your home away from home included. Thoughtful and caring host.

A wonderful long weekend getaway

Rob and Clarissa's property was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. Our hosts were incredibly proactive about making our stay as comfortable as possible– Rob took us on a tour to show us around, all amenities were easily accessible, and everything was as-described in the listing. We all enjoyed kayaking, grilling, chilling, and lounging on the dock. We can't wait to come back again!

Stay at Rob’s house

Very awesome stay. Having rob on-site was a huge blessing- great information, guidance, and a very nice boat trip to a sandbar. They have all the water toys you can imagine- from water shoes to boats. Property and home are very well cared for.

Unique Stay With A Beautiful View!

We stayed at the property this weekend while we were in town for a wedding, and just loved it! The hosts were the absolute sweetest, and their property is so special. It is very important to note that this is about 20 minutes outside of town, but the peacefulness and view make it extra worth it! They had so many cool features for the adults and the kids, and we had so much fun. Just wish we could have stayed longer to get out on the water!

Spectacular weekend

It will be hard to praise this rental highly enough. Everything was just wonderful: hosts, rental unit, location, view, waterfront space. Two eight year old girls loved the loft, the playhouse, the boat ride and making s'mores. We look forward to returning on future trips to the Chesapeake Bay.

Wonderful!

My family had a very enjoyable stay over Labor Day weekend! The hosts Rob and Clarissa were very friendly and welcoming. The property is absolutely gorgeous with the water, sunsets, forest, and serenity. My husband even got to dabble in some crabbing attempts!

Wonderful getaway!

Really loved the place! It was great for restorative relaxation, and also for gearing up for a biking weekend. The upstairs deck was just lovely to wile away some hours sipping coffee or wine and chatting. The kitchen was well-furnished and we could make breakfast and dinner with ease. Would definitely stay again. Minor note that the single beds in the loft won't accommodate tall folks and are probably best for kids (we had a few short guests in the group fortunately!)

An athlete's paradise

This is the perfect location for the weekend warrior to either get some serious adventure, training, or relaxation while enjoying the views and the comfort of this amazing cottage. Rob and Clarissa were fabulous hosts, from before checkin through the stay. We had a hiccup over the weekend- one of our dogs locked us out of the cottage, and the owners took care of us immediately. We'd happily stay there again!

Beautiful sunsets

Rob, the owner, was friendly and offered good advice, such as getting groceries before checking in, as the house is about 20 minutes (one way) from Cambridge. The house was clean and well-equipped. Best part was being right on the water and the beautiful sunsets. Kayaks were out and ready but unfortunately it was a little too cold to use them. We enjoyed our weekend stay.

Peaceful

The property and area was extremely peaceful and well taken care of!! The owners are very nice and willing to help out with any concerns or needs. They also have a ton of outdoor activities, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat, bikes, and outdoor games, available for use! The only small complaint, were the mosquitoes but just be sure to bring plenty of bug spray!

An absolute gem

The only thing I can say is that the online listing really doesn’t do justice to how amazingly stunning Rob & Clarissa’s place is. My family and I decided last minute that we wanted to spend a weekend on the bay. I never expected it to be so beautiful! We got there late in the evening and we were speechless when we woke up to the most beautiful view of the water. My son had an amazing time between playing in the loft or in the playhouse outside, kayaking, and paddle boating. My parents “settled” for chilling by the water and enjoying the firepit and gazebo. I strongly recommend it and plan to go back as soon as we can. Thank you for a wonderful time, Rob & Clarissa!!

Lovely property

Rob and Clarissa have a wonderful a wonderful property right on the water. It is secluded and very tranquil. We could open the door and our dogs were able to swim without us having to worry about bothering neighbors. The house has everything you could want and there are kayaks and bicycles. It is beautifully decorated and the bedding was really high quality which made me very happy. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing getaway

Rob and Clarissa did an amazing job making their loft apartment cozy, relaxing, and spacious. There's plenty of room for a whole family to eat, entertain and sleep in different rooms. And then their outdoor space is amazing! Huge yard, playground for the kids, and welcoming to our four-legged family members. Their property is right on the water, with a dock for boats and another for kayaks and paddle boat. My kids absolutely loved it and spent every second outside on their dock, fishing or in the water. We can't wait to come back for our next vacation! Thank you so much!!

Amazing property, Amazing Hosts

I cannot give this property enough stars! They had absolutely everything a family could need to have the most relaxing yet activity-filled stay. The accomodations were spotless, the beds super comfortable, central air kept the place nice and cool, and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with all we could need. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, bicycles, fishing, crabbing, yard games, and fire pit. The hosts are super nice people who make you feel totally at home. Though we do not have little kids, the place would be great for them as well, with a small pool, play house, and all sorts of toys. The bay water was warm and fairly shallow but not super mucky like some inlets can be. Cannot wait to go back next year!!!

Wonderful Property and Hosts

My partner and I stayed here for eagleman 70.3. Rob and Clarissa were very responsive and welcoming. They made sure we had all of the info we needed beforehand and gave us a heads up that it’s a bit of a drive to a grocery store. They made us feel right at home. The property is beautiful and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The guesthouse was clean and well equipped. The views of the water from the deck and just inside were wonderful. The location is quiet but there’s plenty to do on the property or just a short drive into town. While we didn’t have a chance to enjoy all they have to offer, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will surely be back!
