"Small, well maintained property. Affordable but limited amenities, no breakfast on site but available in the area, clean motel type rooms. Would recommend running the fan overnight, building sits along a significant highway and truckers were using engine breaks to slow which could be controlled with a background of fan noise. Overall a good value and a good spot between southern and central Maine."

"The house is at the end of a dirt road and is nicely secluded. There are houses on either side, but not visible at all. The only way I knew was because of the two other docks. Fishing was good off the dock for perch and pickerel. The yard was large enough for our dogs. There are several kayaks and a canoe available."

"The facilities and location were great. My only comment is when I made reservations, I made the assumption that "trail side" lodging meant next (or very near) to the Appalachian Trail which we had come to the area to hike. The facility is actually next to a fairly busy ATV trail which I should have known by researching the facility better. The facility is convenient to the town of Monson and not too far from the AT, so all was well. Just a heads-up for future guests."

"Kevin’s cabin was everything we wanted for our lakeside stay. Excellent swimming, boating and just hanging. The water is so clear and the boulders along the rocky shoreline are massive and beautiful! We were very comfortable on the fully screened porch - it faces west for great sunsets. Kevin is a friendly and helpful host! We’d love to stay again."
