“The room was clean, in fact so clean there was an overpowering chemical smell on entering, the room was stark, clinically cold, uninviting, depressing with absolutely no redeeming features. On arrival a scrap of paper on office counter told me to ring a phone number, I was then told to go down the road to another motel to check in, none of this was in my check in instructions.
Not what you would expect for $400 a night”
