「Things to note: We brought our own coffee, but there was a Keurig available, stocked with pods. Awesome! We purchased a couple of the K-pods you can fill with your own coffee and left them there for future guests. Super clean, super cute (so many fantastic details!) and it just BEGS for you to slow down and relax. Upstairs bed was so comfortable. Lake was down at first, but a lot of rain this week filled it up a bit. Sadly, it was a bit too cold and rainy for us to hit the water this week, but...

「Very clean and had everything we needed (icemaker and A/C we're a big deal with the summer heat). Loved the view from the deck and hanging out at the dock so we could watch the activity on the lake! Ate in Camdenton and Osage Beach and hiked the trails at nearby Ha Ha Tonka State Park. Lots to do !!」

「I used a filter to ensure we had a pool and this property came up. Lo and behold, the VERY first picture is a beautiful resort pool. Naturally, one would think this is The Pool. There is no pool here and the dock picture is also not relevant to this property. The picture of the residence is not even close. I really cannot speak to the cleanliness and such as we immediately cancelled and the host refused to refund. This is a bait and switch, super disappointed that Expedia would support...

「Lovely little cabin with nice updates on the inside. My only suggestion would be some blackout curtains on the picture windows to help block out lights from the streetlight just outside the front door.」

「We had peaceful getaway at the Hix Lake and Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped, generously stocked kitchen. Its location on the private lake is serene with no other houses in sight.The real show-stopper was the outdoor areas.
