The Harstone Inn is a charming bed and breakfast hotel in downtown Camden and a short walk to the waterfront. My wife and I found the hotel charming and loved the morning breakfast. The Inn has a parking lot in the back which made our coming and going very easy. We stayed in one of the "superior" rooms which was very comfortable. We will definitely come back.

Excellent stay at Hartstone Inn. Beautiful spot right in Camden close to everything you will need on your stay. I will definitely come back again and enjoy their hospitality.

The staff was MIA all day if you needed anything. They were the in the morning for breakfast which was very good. It was noisy from the road, the a/c was crazy loud, and they didn’t have darkening shades to keep the light out.

Beautiful quaint hotel, they definitely took the time to decorate and add amenities to the rooms. We stayed in the Paris room and loved it. The hotel is in walking distance to downtown Camden, so much to do. I highly recommend staying there.

So incredibly charming. The staff was so friendly, and the hotel has a beautiful dining and outdoor patio area. The rooms are what we expected for this type of preserved property, not spacious but again, what we expected. Comfortable bed, quiet and walkable to everywhere downtown. I would highly recommend.

The proximity to the harbor and the breakfast were good. However, the room was only cleaned one of the three nights we were there. There was no staff available in the evening, and we had to hunt for some fresh towels so we could take a shower when we got back from sightseeing.

The location is perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and do plenty of shopping. However, we were disappointed to discover the cost of valet parking and the Destination Fee, neither of which we fully understood when checking in. These additional charges significantly increased our expenses and left us feeling that we had not received the value we expected. As newly retired travelers, we plan our trips carefully and work hard to stay within our budget. Unexpected fees like these take away from what should be an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, this has influenced our opinion of the hotel industry. We have already encouraged friends and family to consider B&Bs and vacation rentals, where they may find better value and fewer unexpected charges. Hotels should be focused on enhancing the guest experience, not adding fees that leave guests feeling disappointed and taken advantage of.
