"Pros: De communicatie met de gastvrouw en gast heer was top! Hele lieve mensen zijn het. Als we vragen hadden of er ontbrak iets aan het huisje, kwamen ze binnen 30 min ons te hulp schieten. De locatie was ook perfect, een rustige omgeving en binnen een kleine 20 min zit je op prachtige plekken. Het huis is schoon, en mooi modern ingericht. Al met al echt niks te klagen. Een prachtige week gehad in dit mooie huisje."

"The apartment looks brand new. Everything we needed was in there. Parking was under the building for a EUR10 charge per day."

"Positives. The apartment was well equipped (kitchen and bathrooms) and clean. There was parking available right outside and the check in instructions were clear and straightforward. There were ample heating and cooling options. Negatives There was no ability to access the balcony, which was advertised in the pictures and would have been a nice social space as there was no lounge area inside. The pillows were very uncomfortable and hindered a decent night's sleep. The lack of power points near the beds meant the bedside lamps didn't work and also not ideal for charging devices etc. The worst element for us was the building noise next door. While I appreciate this was not the fault of the Hostal, the apartment was uninhabitable from 8.30am for the majority of the day and some advanced notice (clearly the works had been going on a while) would have been appreciated as we could have made other plans."

The rooms are beautifully designed—spotlessly clean, thoughtfully decorated, and blending modern comfort with traditional Spanish charm. The beds are comfortable, the showers are excellent, and everything feels carefully curated. The location is perfect, right in the peaceful village of Tolox, nestled within the stunning Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. It’s an ideal base for hiking, exploring the mountains, or simply unwinding in a quiet, scenic setting. One of the highlights is the atmosphere—calm, relaxing, and intimate. Whether you're coming back from a long hike or just enjoying a slow morning, it’s the kind of place that helps you truly disconnect. Highlights: Exceptional host hospitality Stylish, clean, and comfortable rooms Perfect location for hiking and nature Peaceful, authentic village setting Bottom line: A hidden gem in southern Spain. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting."
