Brilliant - great place - great host - great location

The whole check-in and check-out process was very smooth. The owner was very attentive. The villa and grounds were perfect. Great location, for climbing, cycling and the airport. Great beach nearby. Thank you to all who made our holiday run so smoothly.

Lovely countryside stay in the heart of Mallorca

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Garreta! We stayed during the end-of-year holidays, and were very comfortable! The house is well-heated via heat pumps, and we were even provided with a small space heater in the bathroom which was greatly appreciated. The house was impeccably clean, and we appreciated the nice touch of some holiday decor. The kitchen is well-equipped, the home spacious, the bedrooms large and comfy. Though we stayed during the off-season, we still very much enjoyed the well-maintained garden. On top of a fantastic stay in the villa, I have to also comment on the top-notch service provided by Owl Booking staff, who provided helpful information and we're on standby to answer questions and help as-needed. Overall, would highly recommend, and hope to return again in future!

Erholsamer Aufenthalt in ruhiger Lage.

Die geräumige und saubere Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Für jemanden ,der sich häufiger selbst Speisen zubereiten möchte , war die Auswahl an Schneidmessern im Messerblock definitiv zu stumpf. Für die Entsorgung von Restmüll stand auf dem Grundstück leider kein Behälter bereit.Lediglich für Papier/Pappe,Plastik/Dosen und Glas.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Tolle Finca, entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Günstig gelegen, man ist schnell auf der Autobahn, dennoch sehr ruhig. Nette Vermieterin, die am Samstag die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche gewechselt hat. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt und kommen gerne wieder. Auch die Agentur ist toll. Gute Kommunikation.

Schöne Finca mit herrlichem Ausblick

Die Finca ist wunderschön gelegen und man kann auf den beiden Terrassen vor und hinter dem Haus nahezu den ganzen Tag in der Sonne sitzen. Das Anwesen ist hübsch und gepflegt, manchmal kommen auch ein oder zwei Katzen zu Besuch. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wobei die Anzahl an Tassen als auch einige Müslischalen ergänzt werden könnten. Die Betten sind bequem und die Finca trotz frischer Außentemperaturen dank Klimaanlage und Heizlüfter im Bad gut warm zu bekommen. Einziger, aber nicht unerheblicher Minuspunkt waren die Tag und Nacht bellenden Hunde in der Nachbarschaft.

Schönes Anwesen mit kleinen Defiziten

Einige Dinge (z.B. defekte Beleuchtung), die wir moniert haben, könnten auch nach einem Mieterwechsel entdeckt werden. Insgesamt war die Ausstattung (z.B. Küchenutensilien) vollkommen ausreichend. Auch mehrere Schirme für den Strand findet man... irgendwann :-). Ein Bett mit einer Matratze ist nur vorteilhaft, wenn beide Insassen sich kaum bewegen. Aus diesen Gründen buchen wir immer für 2 Personen auch zwei Schlafzimmer. Ein Zusatzbett in das "große" Schlafzimmer zu stellen, war kein Problem. Sollte jemand -im Gegensatz zu uns- Interesse an Tischtennis haben, so sei gesagt, dass die Tischtennisplatte absolut ungeeignet zum Spielen ist. Da die Platte total kaputt ist, sollte diese auf den Müll wandern und nicht mehr damit "geworben" werden. Die gefährliche Konstruktion in der Außenküche (zwei Endgeräte an einer Gasflasche angeschlossen), wäre in Deutschland wohl nicht erlaubt. Durch einen defekten Schlauch am nicht benutzten Grill strömte permanent Gas aus, was zu Verpuffungen führte. Wir haben trotzdem unseren Aufenthalt in der schönen Anlage genossen und bedanken uns ausdrücklich bei "Booking Owl". Die Betreuung vor Ort, war einfach fabelhaft. Auf unsere Anliegen wurde super schnell reagiert und die "Fehlerbehebung" wurde innerhalb weniger Stunden durchgeführt. Gegen die in der Nacht non-stopp bellenden (wilden?) Hunden kann niemand etwas ausrichten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist außerhalb der Ferien/Hochsaison absolut gegeben. In der Hochsaison sieht dies leider anders aus, da hier für einen (fast) doppelt so hohen Mietpreis keine Verdoppelung der Leistung stattfindet.

Lovely Finca in Northern Mallorca

We enjoyed our stay in Finca Garetta and it was lovely to have breakfast in the garden, with an amazing view on the surrounding mountains. The "Coves de Campanet" are very closeby and are breathtaking, definitely recommend going to see them. The communication with Owl Booking worked very well. Just one thing: we were there in early March and it was quite cold. We used the A/C to heat the rooms, which worked in the living room, and to a lesser extent in the bed room. The kitchen and the bathroom were quite cold, especially the stone floors. That is no one's fault, such fincas are probably mainly built to keep cool inside. So just for anyone who wants to go in winter: bring warm socks with you.

Wir wurden leider voll und die ganze Woche vom Tief Blas erwischt und konnten die Außenanlage überhaupt nicht nutzen, aber dafür kann die Casita ja nichts. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und gleichzeitig zweckmäßig eingerichtet und idealer Ausgangspunkt egal ob an die Küste oder in die Berge. Nicht schaden würde, wenn ein paar Kleinigkeiten behoben würden, bzw. mal ein/e Hausmeister/in mit dem Werkzeugkasten durchs Haus ginge.

In der heutigen Zeit genau das Richtige

Die Villa Garreta bietet genau das, was in der heutigen Zeit noch wichtiger ist als sonst, nämlich abschalten mit Abstand. Aber dennoch gibt es hier viel zu erleben, wenn man naturverbunden ist: Orangen- und Zitronenbäume im eigenen Garten, Pferdekoppel gleich nebenan und die eine oder andere Besucherkatze, die gerne gestreichelt werden möchte :-) Das Highlight dieser Villa ist aber nicht etwa der nette, kleine Pool oder die gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, sondern die Außenküche. Wir haben sie ständig benutzt. Insgesamt fanden wir das rustikale Interieur der Villa sehr scharmant. Aber keine Angst: WLAN und LED-Fernseher sind auch vorhanden. Sehr brauchbar fanden wir auch die Waschmaschine. Da mussten wir erst gar nicht viel Gepäck in die Balearen schleppen. Mit der großen, breiten Autoauffahrt und der Landwirtschaft drum herum wirkt die Villa wie eine kleine Hacienda. So etwas wird es in den berühmteren Touri-Gegenden von Mallorca wohl nicht geben. Die Kommunikation mit OWL-Booking via What's-App hat im Übrigen auch sehr gut funktioniert. Von uns gibt es 5 von 5 Sternen.

An oasis in Mallorca

What a pleasure to stay at Villa Garreta. Ursula, the owner is an absulute delight. We loved this traditional finca, the beautiful landscape and have rested and rejuvenated ! We hope we will be back sooner rather than later. Hand soap
