“The property location was excellent. The property itself was lovely. If you are a family who is keen to eat-in most meals then the living area may be a bit small and there is no outdoor entertaining (due to noise restrictions and local holiday leasing laws), but as a home base for a trip it was perfect. 5 min walk to the rocks, 10 min to circular quay and 10 min to barangaroo. We loved it and will stay again. The host was also great. ”

“Lovely property, very clean & well appointed. My grandson appreciated the selection of toys supplied.Was a perfect location for the Rail Museum Thomas weekend. Host was excellent. Would definitely recommend.”

“ Very roomy one bedroom granny suite. Clean with plenty of towels. Nice furnishings and bed.Internet failed one day but was fixed upon notification. There is a very steep driveway and steps in front of the house that you have to get your luggage up to. Also steps from the backyard up to the granny suite. Frying pans in the kitchen need to be replaced as teflon was coming off. This was some thing we noticed at alot of VRBOs.Pool was nice to cool off in and enjoyed it but was not cleaned.Had to……

“Loved this cottage so much, was such a wonderful cozy escape for the weekend and the views and forest surrounding are immense. Great comms with the lovely host and we instantly felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Definitely want to go back again. ”

“The house is full of colonial charm with all the comforts. The owners had even laid the table and decorated it with a little Christmas tree. The kitchen was well equipped and even well stocked with some cereals and treats with a kind “help yourself” note. The garden is lovely and gives the feeling of being in the bush when you are conveniently just off the highway.”

“The listing does not do it justice. For the price, it was a great place that exceed our expectations. The hosts were friendly (providing snacks for arrival). It was quiet, central (we had a car) and well equipped. Bathroom is a bit tired, but fully functional. We had a very relaxing 8 days which didn't break the bank. The children loved the pool and were made to feel very welcome. ”
