We have stayed at the wonderful property 16 times now. We have been to other all inclusive resorts in Mexico but always find our way back here. The staff is amazing and accommodating. The beach is nice but not the white sands of other places we have visited. They work hard to keep it clean and cleared of any seaweed. Pools can get crowded at times, so get down early to get the best seats!

Gorgeous facility, excellent and attentive staff that went above and beyond to make us happy. It was just the relaxing vacation with all of our needs taken care of that we needed. A couple of points that we did not know: gratuity is included in the all-inclusive package. We did no know so we were tipping 20% on every time we ate or drank. Our gratuity charge at the end of our stay was over $1000 Also, if you are staying longer than 3 nights, you may want to be prepared to explore some off-site dining. The food was very good but we got a little tired of the choices by day 4.

Pretty much wonderful top to bottom. Huge room with full kitchen and gorgeous ocean view. Lovely, pristine grounds with lots of pools to choose from and a great white sand beach on which the sargassum is well managed. Tasty food; Zama, the central pavilion, has the best atmosphere. Mostly, the people were lovely. Never felt resented or tolerated. My guess is they pay their staff well enough. Happy staff = happy guests. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay off the Zona. Only caveat is you have to do the all-inclusive, otherwise (for Canadians) dinner will cost you like $300 a night and there are no other options close by except Subway and a taco stand by the ferry dock. Not a problem for us, but the exchange is a lot closer than it used to be. Also, bring a lot of sunscreen: the resort market charges $45 USD per bottle. But overall, amazing experience. I'd happily go back.

This was a great spot for a family vacation. The food was phenomenal, the property was vast with plenty to do for a week. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We stayed in a one bedroom with kids sleeping on a pullout couch and everyone slept great. I have 2 complaints- the workout room was in the basement, no windows and the smell was awful - like overwhelming mold and mildew. It was hard to get used to. The other complaint is we chose the all inclusive option. We enjoy that so we don't have to think about money all week. We typically bring cash for tipping the staff for service. At this resort, it's routine for them to pull up your bill after every meal so you can check out with your bracelet. They show you the cost of your meal (ex $700 USD for lunch) then show you the tip options with no spot for custom. You can choose 10%,15%,20%. After every meal it got stressful feeling like we were not tipping enough. I didn't go to an all inclusive so I could think about money that much. And i don't think paying tip on inflated meal prices is right.

The resort was great. Clean, organized, and everyone was so friendly. The one bedroom suit was so spacious and great for my family of 4. The resort was very family friendly. My 5 & 8 year old loved it there. The beach was also good for us.

Beautiful place will be back. Only one suggestion, make all the water free. There’s no need to charge for water in some places and have free water in others. Service was excellent!!!

C’est en effet un bel endroit, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié cet hôtel ainsi que les installations. C’est plutôt la plage que j’ai trouvée moyennement propre. Ce serait vraiment super si le personnel nettoyait les plages, au moins une partie des algues. Nous avons même vu des excréments dans la mer, ce qui m’a dégoûtée.

Excellent service from every one we interacted with! . , Grounds were really well maintained and had a tropical vibe to them. Pools were incredible! Food was incredible! Lots of great restaurants to pick from on site. Beach was really nice too! Definitely do the activities… kayaking…. Snorkeling… jet skis… fishing… So much fun!

The staff was over the top. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with huge balconies. The grounds were clean and well-maintained, with lots of tropical plants and trees. Multiple pool and hot tubs, to match your mood. Several on-site dining options, and the food was amazing. The have a children’s club that I was unable to use since my son wasn’t four years old yet. Beach space was nice and private, with no outside vendors.

Wonderful experience at Villa del palmar. Starting with 2bedroom oceanfront view studio, very clean modern. Fridges filled and refilled with refreshment snacks, room service staff checked up on us daily to make sure are needs are met, all restaurants service and food excellent. Ideal for family or anyone else that needs to be pampered!

Ocean view was visible from the room. Room very clean and comfortable, balcony had hammock which was clean and comfy. Daily housekeeping service was great. Many swimming pools, never overcrowded. Pool sofas facing ocean provided beautiful view. Palm trees gave some sheadow. Pool service was amazing. All service people inside and outside very polite and professional. Food was good. Great experience overall. .
