With a comfortable loft bedroom and a welcoming living room featuring a queen size futon, it’s perfect for relaxing evenings. The cabin stays comfortable year-round thanks to heating and air conditioning. Whether you’re curling up with a book or enjoying quiet moments, this phenomenal cabin provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Candor and our cabin has to offer. The lovely woods setting, is located on our 18 acre farm, where several conservation listed plants grow in the botanical sanctuary in our woods. There is no WiFi at the cabin, but connection is available at the farm house, your hosts home, where you can stop to get directions (or swing on the porch swing and watch a movie?) We purposefully have no WiFi connection there so you can have a more peaceful visit. We have a kitchenette, with a microwave, countertop cooking burners, a coffee maker, a mini-fridge,dishes, tea, pots, cooking oil and some spices, etc. There is a fire and picnic area by the creek with a small charcoal grill. Charcoal is provided.Fires are allowed unless there is a burn ban in our area. There is a front porch with a bench and summertime plants and candles to enjoy, with a sunset view over the hill. Our outdoor waterfall shower and large tub with hot water in the private woods setting is a guest favorite. We have been hosting guests since 2006. We love to share this lovely piece of Upstate NY with guests who need a getaway. This neighborhood is dotted with Amish farms so drive slowly on your way here and enjoy the scenery. Our farm stand is only one in the area, should you chose to buy from and support local small farms.
