Near the apartment you can visit:
-Promenade: It runs along the entire seafront of Cangas to the end of Rodeira Beach, passing through the Signal Gardens with the Hospital Chapel.
-Plaza de Abastos: Market where in the mornings you buy the fresh fish and seafood of the day. On Tuesdays and Fridays, a market is held around the square.
-Alameda Vieja con el Reloj: A symbol for Cangas, it is an old weather station from the beginning of the 20th century. Built in 1907, it was a great advance for the town's sailors as it allowed them to predict the weather before going out to sea. It has four spheres, weather vanes, a thermometer, a hydrometer, a device that measures wind speed and the weather.
-Ex-collegiate church of Santiago de Cangas: Its façade is considered one of the best examples of Renaissance art in Galicia.
-Rodeira Beach: Located in the heart of Cangas, this urban beach is almost a kilometer long with calm waters. In the vicinity of the sandy area there are cafes and beach bars where you can have a drink.
In the area you can visit:
-Caracola, Cabo de Home: From this viewpoint you can see the Cíes Islands and the Ons Islands, in addition to enjoying the beauty of the cliffs. The best time to visit this viewpoint is at dusk to watch the sunset.
-Facho de Donón: Old guardhouse made of granite, which served to monitor enemy troops, surrounded by ancient circular stone settlements that were a fortified town. With views of the beautiful landscape of the O Morrazo peninsula, the Ría de Vigo and the Cíes Islands.
-Punta Subrido Lighthouse: White cylindrical tower with blue door and windows, with fantastic views of the beaches of Barra and Nerga.
-Punta Robaleira Lighthouse: Old stone lighthouse of great width and low height that stands out, above all, for its characteristic red color.
-Cabo Home Lighthouse: Cylindrical and white. It is one of the tallest beacon towers on the entire Galician coast at 18 meters high.
-Nerga Beach: Natural environment full of typical Galician vegetation. It is lined with pine and eucalyptus trees that decorate several paths along which to take a pleasant walk. It is characterized by a dune system of fine golden sand bathed by the waters of the Ría de Vigo. It is a sheltered beach so it is not as windy as other beaches that face directly the Atlantic Ocean.
-Barra Beach: It has a large dune system and a beautiful pine forest that grows practically on the sand. This dune complex is the second largest in the province of Pontevedra, after Lanzada.
-Melide Beach: It is a wild beach with spectacular views of the Cíes Islands. Its isolation has allowed it to still be a virgin place with a dune system of great ecological value.
