This modern looking yet spacious hotel room located in the heart of Canmore but easy to access, 5 minutes when you are off Highway 1.

Just renovated with new floor, new painting, & new furniture with in floor heating system and split A/C for summer.

Super quiet but only steps away from grocery stores, restaurants and more.
Located only one-hour away from Calgary and minutes away from the gate of Banff National Park.

Excellent Stay

I stayed here as I was attending a wedding at the Cornerstone. It is extremely close to this venue and made it easy to still walk to many of the local attractions, downtown and beautiful pathways. Great space with lots of room even with a King Bed. Very clean and quiet.

Banff Wedding Trip

This was a great place to stay for a wedding we attended in Banff, AB. Nice clean quiet little hotel room and it was super easy to find and access.

Not worth it

Did not enjoy our stay. For one thing, they shouldn't describe what's there as a kitchen lol there's a fridge and microwave and a few dishes, but no sink, washed the dishes in the bathroom sink with a face cloth as no dish clothes were provided. Meaning we lacked a face cloth lol. The microwave kept just turning off, we had to pull out the fridge to turn the power bar back on multiple times, where they have it placed, the fridge pisjes against it and turns it off. The hot tub on the property is DISGUSTING, we could see it out of our room and the nasty scum film bubble build up was ridiculous! You couldn't even see the water! The room was very hot, even though it was only 2 outside the room was 26 every night, we used the air conditioner sitting there, except it started glitching and we had to turn it off every 5 minutes. The pillows were too thin and only one blanket for the bed that doesn't actually fit the bed properly. And the internet is SOOO SLOW!!! we ended up just using data. We will definitely never stay here again.

I was in Canmore for 2 nights. The condo is exactly as the pictures show, really nicely appointed and they've done a wonderful job. The exterior of the building is great, and believe they're in the process of updating the interior hallways, etc. My only issue wound up being with the hot tub - I stayed in for roughly 20 minutes (my usual). After 15 minutes, really started to notice the fumes of the chlorine and how itchy and irritated my skin was becoming. By the time I got back to the room, a white mark had appeared on my back (blister) and was incredibly painful. I washed off completely, and went to the walk-in clinic the next day. Per nurses/staff, it was a chemical burn from chlorine and the jets.

All you need in one room

Really, what more do you need when hiking, caving, biking, etc in the mountains? One room with all of the necessities will do. That said, this room was spacious, very clean, well appointed and outfitted. The fridge was even a great size - apartment style rather than a teeny bar size. There were TWO A/C units and a very comfy king-size bed so it was fantastic at night. Walking distance to the town and a Farmer’s Market on Thursdays. Loved it. Seamless check in, street parking was easy to find and absolutely nothing to do upon checkout. There was a lot of building construction going on which shut down the hot tub and made the outside look a bit rough but the work was all exterior and never during sleeping hours. I’ll be back, for sure.

Stay at Windtower

Room was very nice, easy to book, host provided quick response, location was quiet and served our purpose of skiing in the area. A bit of drive each day to the hill and about half mile walk to downtown Canmore shops and eats.
