“Séjour vraiment parfait, nous étions 2 adultes, 2 jeunes garçon (6 et 10ans)… très proche de tout… appartement ultra confortable et on s’est senti un peu comme à la maison mais à Venise. Très bel accueil de notre hôte très chaleureuse… fortement recommandé!… on aurait aimé rester plus longtemps!”

“I had a wonderful stay at Giovanna’s Casa Michiel. Giovanna established early communication with me, met me at the door and walked me through the spacious, bright and clean apartment. The apartment was also very quiet. The winning feature for this place was location. “This is a very nice home in the heart of Cannaregio, Venice. Rialto Bridge, St. Mark's Square, Restaurants, Super market and shopping are all very close by. We enjoyed our stay at this home and would certainly recommend it to other. A couple of things to keep in mind. This home is on the second floor, so if you have luggage, you will have to carry it up 2 floors. The address to the home is a bit confusing and we had a little bit of trouble getting to the home. We took a taxi from the airport……

“ our reservation was accepted and all payments made. I made several email contacts to gain property access details. I finally called the owner the morning of check-in, before our train arrived into Venice, to arrange access to the property and was told that the apartment was already being occupied. My family and I were left stranded and left to scramble around for last minute accommodations. Nearly impossible....Had to resort to a one room B&B dump...only option. No considerations were……

"The Venice was a superb hotel and it improved our experience in Venice greatly. The hotel staff provided great service by helping us arrange water taxis, day trips to Murano and Burano and Gondola trips, all at our convenience and reasonable prices. It is one of the most exquisite hotels within Venice with really good vibes. Some recommendations for improvements including providing more racks or hooks within the room for hanging towels, guide to using the switches as these were some minor issues we encountered. Would still strongly recommend anyone going to Venice to have a stay in this great hotel. "
