“The photos of two of the bedrooms on the website are from a completely different property. Bedroom 2 in particular is a lot smaller than expected.There was no dishwasher even though one is listed in the property details.We noticed there was a leak in the living room ceiling. This began dripping after we had used the shower in the master bedroom. The crack in the ceiling where the leak was coming through looked like an old crack that had been badly patched over.Television didn’t work properly……

“My family enjoyed staying here. It is convenient to the Canterbury West train station, the pedestrian zone and Canterbury Cathedral. It is on a busy road, so there is no place to park to unload/load luggage from a car, but there is a car park nearby. The house consists of 3 floors, with one bedroom on each floor. The stairs are quite narrow. The kitchen, dining and bathroom are located on the ground floor. There is lots of art decorating the walls. A lovely stereo controlled by Alexa is in the……

“A wonderfully maintained barn with ample space and beautiful views of amazing countryside. ”

“Mold has taken over the cottage and now everything we took on the trip smells like mildew. I may have to buy replacement suitcases. My cpap machine filter turned black from 4 nights use in that place. I can only imagine what is in my lungs from breathing the air during my stay. We had to keep windows open at all times that we were inside; to keep the moldy smell from making us sick. The antiques are nice to look at but not comfortable to use. The shower is barely a drip and it was impossible……

“Absolutely beautiful property! Spacious grounds, thoughtfully equipped, very well maintained. The pool area was wonderful and warm, and seems to have been recently refurbished. The local pub appears to have closed but it was only a short drive to nearby towns.We enjoyed a very peaceful stay here, thanks a lot.”

"The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. I was correct and the room looks amazing and spacious too! What a wonderful refurbishment with great designs. Staff were also very helpful and friendly with the hospitality service. Their breakfast or dining area seems lovely although I took it outside instead as there’s so much to do and eat outside the hotel as well. I would loved to stay here once again if I come round for a visit once again. "
