"The place is amazing. Is the perfect Costa Rica escape. You have a desert beach a few steps away from you room, the pool is incredible and the isolated vibes is perfect to disconnect from the world. Friendly staff and a big shout out to Diana, the owner, who is very careful and welcoming. The room is great, comfortable and spacious. The only note we have is regarding the shower: the shower wasn’t the best, it was lacking some maintance. Other watch out for people is that to get to the hotel you need to drive by a 5km unpaved road, so it takes a while and make things a bit far, but if you are looking for a disconnection I couldn’t recommend a better place. 100% would stay again."

"The rooms are spacious especially if you book the ones with small pools. Our room did not have blackout curtains. In the past they did and I would suggest they get them back so you can sleep in and also have better privacy. The restaurant is good for breakfast and dinner. In most beaches in Costa Rica it is very crowded. Here I sometimes had the beach all to myself. Great sunsets and you can arrange to ride horses. The ocean waves are rough and I would not advise anyone venturing in too deep unless they have a flotation device. Strong rip currents. The staff are all very welcoming."

"This hotel is very beautiful, but something to keep in mind. The food and beverages from the restaurant are very over priced. Just as an example a glass of Prosecco was roughly 22-25$ (USD) which is enough to just go out in town and buy your own bottle. Also, the breakfast for just my wife and I (buffet breakfast) cost us roughly $70 USD. The breakfast selection was basic and not impressive at all. We basically wondered what we paid 70 dollars for when we saw our choices. The property is beautiful and the service was amazing! Please keep in mind it is in the jungle so you will hear jungle noises at night. Which is to be expected and honestly I thought it was pretty neat."

"This property is amazing , the pictures do not do it justice. Lucy is the lady who is in charge of property she is amazing as her husband they take great care of the home. If you want quiet peaceful and away from all the busy stuff this is the place , yet if your wanting to be around all the activities they are only 30-40 mint drive. We are booking our return vacation as soon as we get home and settle our finances lol…"

"I don't even know where to start. This place was PERFECTION! The staff in the entire hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, I feel that they are all our friends now. The food at the restaurant is amazing, people come visit from outside the hotel just to dine at the restaurant. The pools are sooo nice, and that is a highlight for me because my husband hates getting into pools, I literally had never seen him enjoy a pool the was he did in this hotel. We didn't have to share it with other guests when we went in and it just feels very peaceful and the views are breathtaking. The day we checked out I literally thought he would not get out of the pool so we could leave. The servers at the restaurant and pool bar were very nice and we enjoyed having conversations with them, Abraham, Anthony and Ricardo. The bell guys, the tour guide, our concierge, it just feels like they're all a family. The room was super comfortable and spacious, we had a view even from the shower with a giant window, plus a balcony and a huge rooftop for ourselves. They offer a complimentary tour of the property that is about 6 acres of preserved forest where you can see monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, among many other birds and species."
