House was clean and in a great spot. Unfortunately, attention to detail was lost. Too many minor issues add up to a disappointment. We had no light in the primary bedroom, several switches didn’t work, a bathroom sink drain was broken, microwave didn’t work (problem for 10 people over Thanksgiving), front door was unlocked and open upon arrival, there were 6 dinner knives in a house set up for 12 people, and not enough adult bath towels. The host responded to everything which was nice, but all of the issues were frustrating.

We loved this property! It’s private and enclosed with a front and back gate, so our young boys had a lot of property to safely enjoy. We used the pool and hot tub, and enjoyed the outdoor porches every day with a beautiful view. The home/beds/seating was all very comfortable. The playground had some leftover trash and some broken bits, but nothing we couldn’t play around. The boys loved the swings.

Anniversary Celebration

Fantastic. Home was in a very quiet location away from traffic and city impacts, but still an easy drive to New Braunfels/Gruene and its many attractions (river float, restaurants, shops,etc.). Accommodations were great, spacious, with various outside decks to enjoy views. Enjoyed time in the pool and hot tub with family. Host was very prompt when we had questions (responding within minutes of inquiries). Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be planning a return trip.
