"I had high expectations for The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort, especially given how new the property is and the price point, which is very much in line with what you’d pay for a luxury hotel in New York. The hotel itself is stunning. The design is modern and elegant, everything feels brand new, and the setting in Cap Cana is beautiful. Rooms are spacious, well thought out, and exactly what you would expect from a St. Regis in terms of aesthetics. The beach area and pools are also very well done. Where the experience really falls short is the service — and unfortunately, at this price level, that’s what matters most. Service across the hotel felt inconsistent and, at times, surprisingly poor. Simple requests would take too long or require multiple follow-ups. There was a general lack of attention to detail and proactiveness that you would normally expect from a brand like St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. It often felt like the staff was either undertrained or not aligned with the level of service the hotel is trying to position itself at. Dining was another mixed experience. The food quality was decent, but service in restaurants was slow and sometimes disorganized, which made meals feel more frustrating than enjoyable.To be clear, this is not a bad hotel — far from it. The physical product is fantastic. But when you are charging top-tier luxury prices, guests expect top-tier service, and right now there’s a clear gap between the two."

"This was my second time staying here, and honestly, it was even better than the first. I had such a great experience from start to finish. A huge shoutout to the housekeeping staff, especially the lady who cleaned my room — she was absolutely amazing. Every single day, my room was left spotless, smelling fresh and wonderful, and the bed was always perfectly made. Every time I came back from the beach, someone had already come by to clean and organize everything, which I truly appreciated. Her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Also, Axel at the front desk was so helpful and informative. He made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. I had requested an early check-in, and they were kind enough to check me in at 11 AM instead of 3 PM, which was a huge plus since we had a very early flight and arrived at the hotel around 9 AM. The amenities were 10/10, the food was delicious, and I honestly have no complaints at all. One thing I especially loved was how they had so many food and alcoholic drink events by the pool throughout the day — it made everything so convenient when relaxing poolside because you could just grab something and head right back to your spot. Overall, I had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!"

"Secrets Cap Cana is such s beautiful resort. I would like to thank all of the workers who with a beautiful smile did a wonderful job making our stay an exceptional and pleasant experience. A big shout out to our concierge, Jourdain, who went above and beyond to meet our needs and then some. Loved our Bali. We really appreciated all his attentions. Maria at the pool and in the evenings, so happy and energetic making sure everyone was having fun. Roadin who served us at the beach, was sweet and fun to talk to. Eddie “Murphy” at the french restaurant gave us exceptional service also fun to chat with. Really everyone at this hotel deserves praise. We want to go back!!!"

"Very nice and large studio with a kitchenette that includes a sink, microwave, small fridge and a 2 burner electric stove. Utensils, glassware and some pots and pans provided. AC works great. Large bath. Very clean except for a dusty porcelain tile floor. Beachfront with great view, quiet and secure and conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport. A little far from where most restaurants are located so that a taxi or golf car rental is needed. There are however 3 casual restaurants within walking distance. There is a small grocery store within Cap Cana that needs a taxi or golf cart ride. A larger well stocked supermarket is located outside Cap Cana on the way from the airport. There are a large pool and a small kids pool."

"The property and community are excellent but if you don’t have a car it’s not for you. If you like the silence and tranquility it’s good but if you want adventure and action then it’s not for you. It’s very expensive there. Buy food is a rest "
