"This stay was one of my favorites in Sicily . Super clean and comfortable, beautiful views from the terrace and a nice kitchen with snacks and drinks available at all times. Host was amazing and even helped get us to airport for an early flight . 10/10"

"AR Palace Hotel in Palermo, Sicily was a wonderful retreat after a very scary flight from Paris. We were a family of four that arrived at 5am because our flight had an emergency landing at Catania airport instead of Palermo due to the weather. We had a long journey by taxi from Catania. The staff were very accommodating and allowed us to have a keyless check in. We were so exhausted and frustrated by the time we arrived, but we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious, modern and clean the hotel room was. We slept so comfortably and had every amenity that we could ask for. And when we awoke, the beach just across the street was already filled with people enjoying the day. We got to meet the wonderful two person staff as we were leaving and they were so kind. What a lovely experience that made up for the scary journey. Thank you AR Palace Hotel!"

"The home in Carini met all of our expectations understanding that the extreme heat did cause some power fluctuations.Let me start by saying that the hosts, Gaetano and Mary, are fantastic people that will do everything in their power to answer your questions to ensure that you have a great stay. They also provide recommendations for activities, restaurants, etc in the surrounding towns.The house has plenty of outdoor space including a pool to cool off after your journeys. The property has lemon trees, almond trees, tomato plants, chickens, etc to give the feel of a traditional Sicilian farmhouse.Kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms have comfy beds with AC, and the house was the perfect size for our family of 7.The location of the house is excellent as well, close to many neighboring beach towns, the multicultural capital of Palermo, and is only 1 hour 15 mins from beautiful Cefalu.I would definitely recommend this home if you are vacationing within the area."

"The staff at this hotel are amazing, all of them: receptionists, cleaning ladies, restaurant staff, pool staff and caretakers. They are helpful, efficient and just lovely people. The room was clean, spacious and had all we needed. The food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. There is plenty on site parking and the beach is few blocks away. There are very good restaurants, ice-cream and supermarket nearby. The beach itself was like a huge swimming pool with clear blue/green water. There is also a transfer from near the hotel to the airport that cost only €6/person. If I return to Sicily, I'll definitely stay at the Conchiglia D'Oro again."

"Such a great pool-area, a very nice host, a kitchen for all needs and a great sea-view.The only thing that was missing is a light in one of the bedrooms. But as it is a room to sleep, this was not a problem at all."
