Very nice house with huge garden

The house is spacious, very well equipped and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. The garden is huge with plenty of shady places to sit as the weather was quite hot. Monpazier is only 3 km away.

Vacances bucoliques, reposantes et confortables

Très belle maison entourée d'un grand et beau parc. La maison est d'un niveau de confort supérieur et dispose de toutes les commodités. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le jacuzzi en retour de nos ballades dans cette magnifique région. M. et Mme Delmon sont des hôtes attentionnés et charmants. Nous conseillons cette location.

Wonderfully relaxing!

We have just returned from a wonderful week at this beautiful house. The house is spotless and mr and madam Delmon have thought of everything needed for a stay. The grounds of the house are amazing with so much space... brilliant for our dog! The hot tub was great although due the extremely hot weather we had it as a cool tub. It is only a five minute walk to the village restaurant which did a fantastic lunch. It was beyond our expectations and we would recommend to others.

Gîte calme et reposant - Spacieux et très propre - Près de la magnifique bastide de Monpazier

Deux semaines dans un endroit calme, reposant, spacieux et propre... en famille. Quel bonheur ! Le SPA est un moment de détente très agréable. Toute la famille (petits et grands) a apprécié. La région est magnifique, entre autres la bastide de Monpazier et le château de Biron. Nous vous recommandons vivement de "vivre" quelques jours à Macou 2.

Avant toutes choses merci à Mme et Mr Delmon pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Nous avons passé 2 semaines de quiétude absolue dans un cadre verdoyant et très (très très) ensoleillé . La maison est pratique, très propre. Le jacuzzi et la douche solaire sont vraiment les + de cette location que nous recommandons fortement. Merci aussi pour les bonnes adresses, notamment le restaurant de l'auberge du drot à 500 mètres à pied . Nous y retournerons très certainement.

Superbe maison dans un écrin de verdure

Bonjour, Le premier contact visuel en remontant l'allée est magique. La propriété est superbe (belle maison dans un écrin de verdure de 2 hectares). Les équipements ménagers sont à la hauteur (je vais d’ailleurs m’en inspirer) et le contact avec les propriétaires très agréable. Nous cherchions le calme et l’avons trouvé. Les enfants quant à eux ont pu courir et jouer à loisir (ping-pong, basket, vélos...) pendant que leurs parents profitaient des bienfaits du spa installé sur la terrasse. Une expérience à revivre. Séjour à Macou

Arrivée bien agréable dans cette belle propriété; accueillis par M. et Mme DELMON très chaleureux, très attentionnés et ayant devancé la plupart de nos questions sur le Périgord. Des cadeaux de bienvenue et un bouquet de lilas nous attendaient ! La maison est vaste, les chambres de grandes dimensions; très belle pièce à vivre et équipement parfait de la cuisine. Tout fonctionnait bien y compris le spa,la cheminée et deux fauteuils de relaxation...qui ont contribué à la magie de notre séjour. Et que dire des lapins batifolant dans le parc ! Enfin, nous avons oublié un livre lors de notre départ. Il nous a été immédiatement envoyé par nos charmant hôtes !! A coup sûr une adresse à recommander. Nous reviendrons surement pour des vacances estivales cette fois.

TOUJOURS AUSSI BIEN

Nous avions apprécié notre premier mais court séjour de 2015. Cette année, nous avons décidé d'y passer deux semaines. L'endroit est charmant et vraiment idéal pour la détente. La nature omniprésente encercle la maison qui s'est dotée cette année d'un SPA de massage qui a lui seul constitue une source de plaisir.

Une tres belle maison mediterraneenne avec terrasse couverte et SPA toute en calme a la campagne sur un vaste terrain arbore . Accueil tres gentil par les proprietaires . La bastide de Montpazier est a cote ou le restaurant Bistro 2 est vraiment a recommander. Un sejour reposant et agreable .

A Wonderful House

We stayed at Macou for three weeks in June, 2016. It is a wonderful house and has every convenience one could ask for. The description is completely accurate and the house was spotless when we arrived. If you want peace and quiet, this is the house for you. It is on a large parcel of land (over 15 acres) and there are no neighbors nearby. The lawn, flowers and trees are well maintained and beautiful and we enjoyed sitting under one of the large oak trees in the front yard and reading or relaxing. We especially enjoyed the outdoor spa and used it every day. We did not use it much, but there is a large flat-screen TV with plenty of channels and a DVD player. You will need to bring your own movies. Mr. and Mrs. Delmon were perfect and did everything they could to make sure that we were comfortable and that we understood all of the appliances and devices in the house. We really appreciated the extra efforts they went to in order to communicate with us. They do not speak English and we speak only a little French but Mrs. Delmon was very skilled in using her smart phone as a translation/interpretation tool so we were able to understand each other very well. The house is just three kilometers from the bastide town of Monpazier where there are restaurants, a wonderful boulangerie, and many shops. There are two small grocery stores but to find a supermarket you will have to drive 20-25 minutes. The location is about 30 km south of the Dordogne River, an hour from Bergerac and about two hours from Bordeaux. Nearly every day we drove off to visit a different destination. Within an hour or two are famous attractions such as La Roque Saint Christophe, Sarlat, Perigueux, Limeuil, Monbazillac, Rocamadour, Cahors, Moissac, Saint Emilion, etc. The drive to Toulouse airport takes about 2.5 hours. We can highly recommend this house and we hope for another opportunity to return. There is a wood-burning stove and plenty of firewood so even in the colder seasons it must be very comfortable and cozy.

Le bonheur est dans le périgord

Très belle maison. Confortable, fonctionnelle et agréable à vivre. Si vous aimez le calme et la nature, vous serez comblé par l'espace entourant la maison. La région offre de nombreuses visites. Merci à Madame et Monsieur Delmon pour leur accueil. Une dédicace particulière pour l'Auberge du Drop à CapDrot. Une belle surprise. Et surtout y aller en ayant faim.

Propriété sublime! nous sommes tombé sous le charme du magnifique et paisible jardin . La maison est très fonctionnelle avec tout confort, j'ai particulièrement apprécié le sèche cheveux murale, l'habitat est très bien entretenu . Nous avons été accueilli chaleureusement par les propriétaires qui nous conseillés sur les activités a faire dans la région tel le château de Castelnaud, les jardins de Marqueyssac qui sont a 30 min, le gouffre de Proumessac 25 min, visiter la bastide de Monpazier 3km, Belves à 15 min, un bon restaurant a Capdrot ou tout est fait maison et la qualité est au rendez-vous. Une grande recommandation pour cette location si vous avez envie de passé de bonne vacances !!!!!

Tres agréable séjour en dordogne

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette très belle propriété. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par les propriétaires que nous remercions encore pour leur disponibilité du début de la réservation jusqu'à notre retour de vacances.le parc est magnifique et très bien entretenu tout comme la maison qui est d'une propreté et d'un équipement indéniable. Si nous devions revenir dans cette région en vacances, nous reviendrions volontiers chez Me et Mme Delmon. À recommencer pour toute personne à la recherche de calme et d'authenticité.

Espace, calme et confort

L'annonce est totalement conforme à la réalité. La maison est confortable et bien équipée. Le jardin est très agréable, tant pour les barbecues que pour les siestes sous le chêne ou l'observations des étoiles la nuit. Pas de voisins, pas de vis à vis. 15 jours de bonheur pour qui vit en appartement en ville... Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances à Macou 2, et profité de belles visites alentours (Monpazier, Cadouin, Limeuil, Issigeac et son marché, Marqueyssac, Monflanquin etc etc)
