“We absolutely loved the house. It is beautiful, immaculate, compact and incredibly comfortable. The beds and couch were great, plenty of lighting for reading and knitting, and a wonderful kitchen. It is right on the harbor so there is some good people, bird and boat watching. The town has everything you want, we loved Cheticamp Island, dinner at Sahara and I loved the Hooked Rug Museum. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores.
