Love that it was very close to Cape Charles, but not directly in the hustle and bustle. Cottage was very clean And had good sleeping arrangements for our family of five with three teenagers. 「This was the perfect house for our family of four! We can to town for a lacrosse tournament and we enjoy having a comfortable place to relax after a day of games. Danna's house is so absolutely perfect and clean. Such a stunningly beautiful home, inside and out. Danna is so thoughtful and we had the most beautiful fresh cut flowers lovingly placed throughout the house. Having the golf cart to go to the beach was handy and fun! We highly recommend spending time at Salt Heir!!! We hope to be back...

「Wonderful owners with phenomenal communication. They were very patient and super responsive to messages. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Property had everything we needed and more and was steps from the ocean. The beach itself was private and not crowded at all. This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely not be our last.」

「We showed up and found a clean and cool spot to stay the night. The beach access is only a 5 minute walk to the bay. This was spectacular! We were also only 1 mile from Jessie's Taquaria which is thr Mexican food in Norfolk. Overall this property checked all our boxes.」

「Property was very clean. Literally a 5 minute drive to the beach or anywhere! Pool was amazing and clean. Clear view of F-18's flying in and out of base. Very cool!」

「Stay was very enjoyable. Close proximity to the beach, but does require crossing a main road. Home was very clean. Two minor inconveniences but did not impact overall trip. One could’ve been user error. Could not get outlets to work in one of the rooms and the second was a light bulb went out in a bathroom which we swapped with another extra bulb in a different room. 」

「We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. The distance to the beach was ideal. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The cottage offered everything that we needed and the online description was on point. Our stay there was just was we needed…quiet and relaxing. But it’s definitely close to all of the activities on the boardwalk. Can’t say enough good things about the owners and their communication as well as their helpfulness.
