「We drove from Ontario to Cape Breton to get away from it all. This cottage was great for a couple and small dog. I could also see it suitable for two couples or small family. The cottage has everything you need. The view itself is worth it. We loved watching the fisherman in the mornings with our coffee. It was nice to be able to sit inside, on the deck or in the screen room depending on the weather. The ever-changing skyline was just beautiful. We liked that it was central on the island to get...

The kids and the dog loved roaming the beach right outside and swimming in such perfectly clear and calm water was wonderful. Well equipped apartment and helpful friendly hosts. 「We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!」
