「In the cover photo is looks like the hut is secluded, but the owners house is just out of the image. No problem for me, but people that were seeking seclusion may not realize this.In the kitchen I couldn't wash some of the dishes easily because of the dish brush. I suggest putting in a brush with a long handle. I could clean the bottom of the coffee cup for example. Otherwise this place would get a 5 star cleaning rating.The place is overall fantastic. 「Owner and property manager provided all details up front, self check in easy. We knew they would sssist promptly if any issues, we had no issues at all. Fully equipped, easy walking distance to lighthouse and seal colony viewing and a beach walk. Super quiet, except the wonderful pounding of the ocean waves. We would return in a minute. 」

「Great base while in Westport 」

「It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one. Even though we came in winter, the West Coast scenery and atmosphere never disappoints, and the house was lovely and...

「A bit of a surprise to find we (4) were sharing the house with the owners, plus a Canadian. We had thought that our 4 were going to have a bedroom each, as per the BookaBach description of the property. Two guys had to share a room.The owners were a delightful, very helpful Chinese couple, who made us welcome and accommodated our Ebikes in their garage to recharge. 」

「So very clean! A lovely house with warm fire and clean comfortable beds. Was a bit worried about check in as communication could ha e been better but it all worked fine. The owners were in an attached property which we would have liked to know but they were very quiet and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. 」
