Sunset Bayside Beach House - Sleeps 14, Steps from Beach & Bay, Outdoor Shower

"This property appeared as listed in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The house was updated and well cleaned prior to our arrival. Although the listing on VRBO said check-in was at 3 PM, our instructions stated 4 PM. However, I reached out to the host and they notified us when cleaning was complete, which was before 3 PM. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable for our party of 11, including 5 young kids. The back yard was a good spot for the kids to play and for bonfires on a few calm nights. The outdoor shower was a must with all of the sand! I loved the convenience of the laundry machines, dishwasher, air conditioning, the outdoor grill, and 2 full bathrooms. The fridge’s built-in ice maker was also well-used. Sadly, we did not find the nearby beach to meet our standards. We instead drove to Cape May each day, which was manageable, just not ideal. 4 tags provided!Some things that the host could improve upon:-more comfortable mattresses-less used/worn couches -fixing some simple broken items (a support board hanging from the bottom of the couch, the knob to turn on/off the table lamp in the living room, the cracked front screen door-adding hooks! There was nowhere to hang bath towels and the like inside! And of course at the beach the floor is full of sand, you MUST keep your towel from touching or you’re doomed. Luckily there was a clothesline in the backyard that we used for beach stuff, but each bedroom and the bathrooms could use more hooks for bath towels."
