In 1890, Cecil John Rhodes the statesman used Mount Rhodes for his hunting lodge and the flora and forna are spectacular within the area, which was once his personal garden/ hunting area.
Inside we have tried to think of everything for your comfort and relaxation, including your welcome pack on arrival to eliminate shopping for groceries for a few hours!.
This includes bottled water, teas, coffees, chocolate, Water, rusks, biscuit and fruit basket
We include, Guest dressing gowns, bathroom/shower towels, face cloths and body sponges, all guest amenities from bath/shower gel, soap, conditioner,shampoo and body lotion.( we use the highest grade of natural ingredients/products taking care of your requirements) Cotton wool buds, pads and tooth picks. Slippers are on request. Beach/pool towels are provided.. Medical box provides plasters, ant acid pills, anticeptics, etc
The sunsets are awesome and surfing 5 mins drive away, with a huge list of things to do within the area. Exploring old mines, trails, stay in a cabin, helicopter rides, the famous Chapmans Peak and many many more to mention.
Star gazers will have a field day with the bright skies at night and the moon does us proud here at Mount Rhodes on every full moon making sure you cannot forget it.
You can have treatments in your room from Guinot facials, massage, waxing to many others on the list.
We try to cater to any special requirements as long as you give us some warning please.
Fresh floral arrangements feature in the main room, PLEASE advise if you have any allergies.
Our beds have been given the thumbs up by all our guests, with electric blankets to take the chill off of the nights that may be colder.
There is peace and quiet usually with just the birds making the noise.
We are pet friendly as long as you are able to take care of your dog/cat , please advise if behaviour problems , we even have a genius for that!
