We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rural Alfajia de Antonio. We spent 3 nights, two couples traveling together. Our rooms were beautiful and the common areas were wonderful to spend time in. We ate delicious food and took some spectacular hikes. Alberto was very warm and made us feel so welcome and at home. He also gave us really helpful advice. This was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Spain!

Fabulous

When we arrived we were greeted by our host, shown our room which was large and had a king sized bed which was very comfortable, also with a sofa bed, patio doors onto a private balcony overlooking the mountains. There was no snow close by but we were assured it may snow anytime. A very enjoyable experience. Thank you

A beautiful hotel with incredible views! We were made welcome by the owner, and our room was very clean, comfortable and the roof terrace is spectacular. I highly recommend this hotel. We will visit again!

Favorite in La Alpujarra

This is my third visit to the hotel--that alone should communicate my enjoyment. The location is perfect to enjoy La Alpujarra, and your hosts are helpful and personable. Easy walking through Capileira, and access to great food and activities. Highly recommend!

Virkelig fantastisk sted og utrolig imødekomme vært. Hyggelige værelser og en skøn tagterrasse hvor der både er mulighed for at sidde i skyggen og solen efter behag. Der er mulighed for at have lidt mad i køleskabet eller fryseren. Kaffe/the er til rådighed. I får mine absolut bedste anbefalinger og hvis jeg kommer til Capileira igen booker jeg samme sted

Ojalá todos los hoteles cuidarán así al cliente

FANTÁSTICO, el sitio es espectacular, todos y cada uno de los rincones, cuidados al detalle con mucho gusto y cariño. Te sientes como en casa. La habitación perfecta y acojedora, la cama grande y muy cómoda. Baño completo y muy amplio. La zona del salón/Office común con chimenea, es la mejor que he estado en alojamientos. Tiene de todo, menaje de calidad y no falta detalle (libros y juegos de mesa también había) y además limpísimo. Y la terraza con vistas tanto al valle como a Sierra Nevada... Sin palabras. Un lujo desayunar allí. Los aseos de las zonas comunes también perfectos. Se nota el cariño y la pasión por su trabajo de Alberto y su mujer (a ella no la conocí, pero otros huéspedes me hablaron maravillas). La recepción que nos dió Alberto fue de 5 estrellas, nos acompaño a la habitación y nos hizo una miniruta por el alojamiento, además de unos maravillosos consejos, sobre dónde comer, que visitar etc. Repetiremos y se lo recomiendo a todo el que busque alojamiento en capileira. Este sitio es un acierto seguro.

Virkeligt dejligt sted. Meget autentisk, og beliggende i den højest beliggende del af Capileira. Hotellet har en terrasse på taget, og man kan se mange kilometre væk. Vi tilbragte mange timer med bare at se på bjergene, og om aftenen, iagttage de svage lys man kunne se fra ensomt beliggende huse. Her er meget stille, om aftenen fuldstændig stille. Det er et meget betagende sceneri. Vi var der i oktober som er udenfor sæsonen, så vi var oftest alene på terrassen. Ofte faldt vi i søvn på sofaen. Hotellet er meget afstressende med al sin ro. Bygningen er gammel, men nyligt renoveret. Værelset var flot renoveret. Ejer- parret er meget opmærksomme og venlige. Byen er komplet, her er både supermarked, bagerier og flere restauranter, og på hotellet har man adgang til et fælles køkken. Køkkenet har en kaffeautomat med tilhørende kapsler, som vi flittigt benyttede, da det var virkelig god kaffe :-) Man betaler et beskedent beløb fra kapsel når man checker ud. Capileira er den højest beliggende af tre små byer, og det er kun de kommunale busser der må fortsætte videre op ad bjergvejen. Hvis man er til bjerg- løb er dette det helt rigtige sted, næsten helt fri for trafik, kun nogle enkelte cykelryttere. Dette hotel er en lille perle, helt specielt.

Quedamos encantados del lugar desde el primer momento , la habitación era amplia y muy cómoda , el cuarto de baño grandísimo. La limpieza como los chorros del oro . Los anfitriones Loli y Alberto un encanto de personas , de esos que te hacen sentir como si fueras otro más de la familia . Cuando vuelva por las Alpujarras ya se dónde tengo mi hogar . Alpujarra Gem

Capileira is a lovely village in the Alpujarras, and Hotel Alfajia de Antonio is a lovely place from which to experience it. Very well priced and comfortable, with easy access to trails for hiking or biking and nearby restaurants with delicious and reasonably priced food. Alberto and Lola are warm and helpful hosts. Although rooms are not equipped with refrigerators, there is plenty of space in a common kitchenette for keeping and even preparing items. This is my second visit, and I look forward to returning!

Wonderful venue--I'll be back!

Alberto and Lola were wonderful hosts, the hotel was lovely and comfortable and a good value. It's location with the town is perfect, easy steps to restaurants and shops of various sorts. Parking is difficult in the town, but Alberto took care of that by parking my car for me--hospitality above and beyond! Although no meals are provided, the hotel does make several small refrigerators available for guests in the lounge--perfect for making your own breakfast, which can be enjoyed on the rooftop veranda. I intend to return for another visit!

This place was absolutely my favorite part of my trip to Spain. I ended up travelling solo due to Coronavirus, and Alberto was so so welcoming, I felt right at home. The room and bathroom we're spacious, sparkly clean and peaceful. The rooftop terrace was unbelievably beautiful, and Alberto even has tea kettles/coffee/dishes/fridges for use in the adjacent common room. I wish I could have stayed here a month!
