"We loved our stay at Holua resort. Although when we arrived the only thing we could say about the property in a negative way was the floors weren’t super clean. That’s not really a huge deal but for some people it could be. Now let’s talk about the positives. The staff was amazing. They were quick to respond when we needed new towels and stuff for the dish washer and washing machine. The grounds were fun to walk around and see the different types of trees and plants. It was nice to have the signs that pointed out what type of foliage they were. It was nice to be able to open up the blinds and be able to look out so many windows. One thing we didn’t realize was that the kitchen was up on the second floor, along with a half bathroom upstairs for those sleeping on the pullout couch. That was a bonus that we didn’t realize the unit had available. If we were pickle ballers, this would have been the place to play because there was always somebody playing. Being so close to a golf course and the harbor that does tours to see the manta rays is also an added bonus. We would def stay here again and hope to soon in the future. "

"Great host, great location. About an hour from Kona, definitely need a car to get around to other areas of the island. But the area is very scenic so the drives were nice. The host was really responsive and left us a bottle of wine and chocolates. Would stay at the house again. "
