The Space:
Sunset Escape is a family-friendly beachfront haven, with the most amazing views - perfect for making lifelong memories. No expense was spared to provide our guests one of the best beach houses on the island… you can relax knowing you’re going to enjoy a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, high-end and comfortable furniture, Westin Heavenly King beds, luxury hotel linens, a wide variety of game and beach amenities. Just bring your bathing suit, family and friends and come enjoy paradise.
Our home is located on the private island of North Captiva; it is three stories, each with a dedicated outdoor space that faces the beach so you can enjoy the breathtaking views from all levels!
* The top story includes two king suites (bathrooms attached) and one bunk room (with a twin over full bunk and a twin over twin murphy bed - perfect for kids!). The outdoor patio has the most amazing sunset views, and throughout the rest of day, you can enjoy 180° beach views from four lounge chairs.
* The second story features the main living area (including fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living room and dining room) and one master suite (bathroom attached). The screened-in patio has a lounge seating area and a four person dining table. You will enjoy the sunset and 180° stunning views of the beach here too!
ENTERTAINMENT:
* Beachfront and beach ready island home! In addition to playing in the waves (in your front yard!), we provide beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas.
* Free dock for your boat (can accommodate up to 23 feet) - ask about availability.
* 4 fat-tire beach cruiser bikes.
* 2 Stand-Up Paddle Boards
* Outdoor beach Ping-Ping, bean bag toss, and connect four games

WORK: If you are coming to work, we offer a comfortable workspace and high speed internet (both Starlink and standard high-speed internet as a backup, if needed).

* Pet friendly! We welcome your pets for a low $250 pet fee per stay.
* Two golfcarts: One six-seater and one four seater - perfect for exploring the island
* Separate laundry room with two full-size new, large washers and dryers (detergent provided too!)

MAIN LIVING AREA: The main living area includes:
* Updated gourmet chef’s kitchen that is fully stocked with all the supplies and tools you need for gourmet cooking. Since there are not many restaurant options on the island, we provide high quality kitchen supplies (mostly from William Sonoma)
* Reverse Osmosis drinking water, so you do not need to bring cases of water with you!!
* Living room with 75” Smart TV.
* New furniture and professionally designed decorated to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible.
* Two dining areas, one inside with seating for 8 and one outside with seating for 6 (plus seating for 6 at the kitchen bar).
BEDROOMS:
* All bedrooms have new and super comfortable beds and pillows and high-quality linens. (Providing your whole party a good night's sleep is one of our top priorities!!)
* Bedroom 1: Main floor king suite with Westin Heavenly mattress, large 65” Smart TV and en suite bathroom (that is also accessed from the living room).
* Bedroom 2 & 3: Top floor king suites, each with Westin Heavenly mattress, large 65” Smart TV, stunning beach and sunset views, and private en suite bathrooms.
* Bedroom 4: Bunk room, featuring a twin over full bunk bed, a twin over twin murphy bunk bed, 55” Smart TV, and a private en suite bathroom.
BATHROOMS:
* 4 full bathrooms that are all complete with plush towels; luxury toiletries, hair dryer, toilet paper, Q-tips, among others!
* We offer Public Goods toiletries, which you will actually want to use… Our shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion are all non-toxic and natural made from premium, plant-based ingredients, fragranced with aromatherapeutic essential oils, and are vegan, and cruelty-free.
* All bathrooms have a tub/shower combination, except for the main floor bathroom that has a shower only.

Guest Access:
You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. There is an electronic keypad on the front door that will provide access to the home. We will send you the code prior to arrival. Guests have private access to the entire home and property.
The Neighborhood:
North Captiva Island is a private island that has just over 350 houses. The island is extremely special with miles of beautiful beaches, world-class shelling, birding, fishing, and of course true relaxation.
The whole island is only four miles long (and ½ mile wide at the widest part), but about half of the island is owned by the State of Florida and managed as a preserve that offers residents and guests miles of hiking trails and access to extremely remote and private white sand beaches.
The island has two restaurants (one serving casual fare and other more gourmet meals), an Island Market (not a grocery store, but has as few last-minute items), ice cream shop/boutique and an island store. There are several wonderful private check options too!!
Our island features golf carts on sandy roads only. This island is a very special and unique place, unlike any other vacation or have or will ever take… it is perfect for creating amazing memories that will last a lifetime!!
Getting Around:
Our home is located on North Captiva Island, which is a private island accessible by boat only. Most of our guests take the Island Girl Charters ferry, and one of our team members will be at the dock to greet you, bring your luggage up into the home, and show you around the island.
Interaction with Guests:
Our team will meet you at the ferry dock and bring your luggage up into the house (...you do not need to climb the stairs with heavy luggage with our team!...). Upon your arrival we will also give you a tour of the island, show you how to safely operate the golf cart and answer any questions that you may have. From there, we will leave you to peacefully enjoy paradise, the beach, and the amazing views, but we are always available to answer any questions or address any issue that arises during your stay. Simply put, we are here to make your stay perfect!
