“Excellent appliances and set up! Comfortable bed and relaxing living room. Perfect for exploring Black Hills area and returning to this space for an evening of relaxation or rest before enjoying Rapid City. Location is handy with easy access to interstate. Road noise (as some other reviews have mentioned) at times is present, but was not bothersome. Highly recommend for a couple’s getaway that wants to blend Rapid City activities with Black Hills area. (We spent time in Badlands NP and Wind Cave……

“This property is centrally located. Close to downtown and easy to travel to areas top sites. Key/lockbox was hard to find for entry, host was as quick to respond and help. Even offered to come by if needed. Air conditioning/washer dryer/tv great. We did not realize it was a basement property. With children above it was extremely loud and distracting. Hard to relax and sleep. Once they left it was quite enjoyable. Well organized space. Kitchen well equipped however toaster was not working and……

“This was a big, converted suite - plenty of room for luggage. The kitchen bedroom and bathroom were normal sized, but the living room was oversized. It was nice to have space . Very convenient for food and mt Rushmore to the south.”

“Comfortable and clean, next-door to the restaurant/bar/bakery Colonial House and near Monument Health”

“It was an amazing stay. It was only about 3.5 miles from the event we were attending and within 5-6 miles from amazing food places. Overall the place was very nice. One thing we did want to mention is not a negative thing but would have been nice to know. We understand that renovations need to be made to ensure the property is maintained. It was just a surprise that the bathroom downstairs was under repair. It was just a shock to walk in and go "Wow!" I need to mention this did not affect……

“Property is spacious, well furnished and very clean.”

“The set up was perfect, it had a living room as well as a kitchenette, a good size bathroom and a decent sized bedroom. There is laundry on site. We stayed about a month. I would highly recommend for short term stays and long term stays. I liked that no one bothered us. Some of the other places nearby, hover over you and it’s not relaxing, especially places that offer breakfast. There’s a nice grass area for the dogs too and an area where you can bbq. Great value, great stay.”

“Very impressed and not disappointed. ”

“I appreciated how clean the suite and how close to downtonw it was. Bed was comfortab le and I deeply appreciated the use of laundry room. Joe was quick to respond to my messages.”

“Excellent place to stay, very homey and comfy! I had a short stay but the host checked in a few times to make sure everything was going good. Would definitely book again when in the area!”
