"This property does not meet Relais & Châteaux standards. The “beachfront” photos are misleading—access is blocked by a road, fence, and neighbouring outbuildings. The hotel is in poor condition (stained upholstery, cracked tiles, broken fixtures, peeling paint) and appears understaffed, with little service after check-in. Amenities were lacking, the restaurant was closed, and the overall impression was of a misrepresented and poorly maintained property."

"The apartment had everything we could want for for our overnight stay or even for a couple of weeks with our children. We stayed for one night so didn't make use of the hotels facilities much only had a look around. The beach however is beautiful with white soft sand and tidal swimming pools with a diving platform for high tide. A really beautiful place to stay we will be back for a longer stop."

"I've stayed in many hotels over the years and even the best ones usually have some deficiencies. However, this hotel was just perfect in every way. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, the room and public areas were clean and the room was cool (despite a heatwave). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The en suite bathroom was clean and well maintained and everything worked. For my room, the windows (that could be opened wide) overlooked a large enclosed lawn with garden seating available for guests to enjoy. The area was perfect... Just a few minutes' walk from the town centre yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. This is an excellent hotel and I highly recommend it."
