Overall great place. Everything is brand new and enough for a holidays. Few little things to improve cleanliness, staff friendly and kind. Just round the corner of Cité Médiévale and walling distance to rest of town, worth the money.

Fabulous location, modern hotel

A wonderful apartment, everything new and modern ...fridge and kitchen, large bathroom. . Lovely balcony, and the hotel has an elevator. Very close, short walk to the medieval Cite and the restaurants of Rue Trivalle. Note that this is a Seniors residence, nice snd quiet. Front desk staff very helpful when arranging for a taxi.

A really lovely place to stay - in the shadow of the castle itself which was a 10 minute walk away. It was more an apartment than a hotel room, with fridge/freezer, sink, living area and two separate bedrooms. Be aware that it was initially difficult to find because the rooms are within a retirement home and the facilities within our room clearly supported assisted living. Staff very friendly!

Excellent place to stay in Carcassonne

The accommodation was a fully furnished flat in a new block. It was well-equipped and very comfortable. The flats were not serviced but this was not a problem as we only stayed for 3 nights. The building seems to be a 'Seniors' block of flats with a few flats used as holiday lets but don't let that put you off as it is very comfortable and affordable and is just a short 5 to 10 minute slightly uphill walk to the walled town.

The location was great and the room was large. The balcony was pleasant, and overlooked a courtyard. The kitchen was poorly equipped, with no sharp knife, sieve/colander, dishcloth or tea towel and there was only one pan and one frying pan. There is a hot plate and a grill/microwave oven. We had to buy washing up liquid and toilet roll for our 2 night stay, which is a bit annoying, but sufficient hand soap and shower gel were provided. Parking was very secure.

Spent one evening at Résidence Carmina with our German Shepherd. The apartment was well appointed, spacious and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. Quality linens. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We appreciated the secure parking, inner courtyard and just a short walk to the medieval city of Carcasonne.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Zimmer sind Bestandteil einer Seniorenresidenz und waren sehr großzügig angelegt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Dusche großartig und es gibt eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Herdplatte, Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank mit kleinem Eisfach. Wir konnten auf dem Parkplatz hinter dem Haus parken, der durch ein Tor gesichert ist. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und hat uns Empfehlungen für den Besuch der Stadt gegeben. Da wir kaum Französisch sprechen, waren wir froh, dass sie englisch konnte. Alles in allem würde ich die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
