Normal a cheap room doubled in price because of concerts. Over a gyros shop, which is has decent food and a discount for residents. Property is in need of redecoration , carpets etc… and can be noisy on the street side with single glazed windows. Shower leaked .. cold water tap loose .. tv remote not working ….a bit uncared for , BUT the bed and bedding was clean and towels ok. For a normal one night stay it’s ok

Super centralt midt i bar- og restaurantkvarteret. Værelset rent men slidt. OBS Boede i rum 6 på 3. sal - trappen er ekstremt stejl.

Great location. Walking distance from train station, castle, great pubs and restaurants. Rooms spacious and had everything you needed. Beds and pillows comfy but could have done with and extra blanket or two. Would definitely stay again.

Check-in was very easy. Room had everything i needed - suiltable for one or two nights stay in Cardiff. Located in the centre of Cardiff but very quiet from my room.

Decent stay for what I paid. The location is great and right in the city centre and not far from the bus station as well as the train station. Slight smell of cigarette smoke on the bedding but apart from that it was a comfortable stay.

ideal for friends

ideal as there were 4 of us so we all atayed together. fairly clean, did notice however stains on the curtains (sound petty but it what was noticed) didn't affect our time in Cardiff though.

This hotel was truly awful and not at all worth the money we paid. The carpets throughout the hotel are destroyed and heavily stained. There were stains everywhere in the room, on the ironing board, floors and curtains. The room was unbearably hot with one fan which did nothing to cool it down. There was one window which again did nothing to cool the room down. The glasses left in the room were filthy and unusable, the kettle and the WiFi did not work. The bathroom smelt really strongly of the kebab shop downstairs. The bathroom door had no lock and when you shut the door it didn’t stay closed so would randomly open when you’re in the bathroom. We had to prop the bin up against it to keep it closed when in use. We had a terrible nights sleep on both nights as the window didn’t close so the loud noises from the bars kept us up until the early hours and then when the cleaning of the street happened this continued to be incredibly loud. Finally, there is a sign on the door stating ‘for your own security please ensure the door is locked correctly at all times’, this immediately made us question the security and safety of the hotel and wonder if this is a reoccurring issue with the hotel. We then experienced this first hand when someone tried to come into our room whilst we were inside and quickly left when we came to the door. I would not recommend this place to any traveller and recommend the hotel spend some money doing it up and sorting out their safety issues!

Was easy enough to find, right in the centre of Cardiff. 5 minutes from the Principality Stadium. Very comfy bed. Slept well. 77 steps up to the room. With a suitcase, arthritic knees and COPD it was a hike. No water in the morning. Couldnt have a shower or make a drink.

The worst hotel in Cardiff (worse than my tent)

This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The check in was in a neighbouring Greek Gyro take away and that should have told me something about what was ahead! My room was 99 steps up, through dirty and threadbare carpet! The place needs a complete renovation it’s really disgusting. I had been camping in my tent for the prior 5 nights and seriously thought about leaving and doing another night in the tent but I really need a shower. Almost everything in the room was dirty, stained or broken, often all three!!

This property was totally unsuitable for us. We are both in our 70's. There were 3 flights of stairs and no lift. The Stairwell carpets were worn and threadbare and a trip hazard. There was no Reception and the Keys had to be picked up from the Gyros Shop next door.
