Our stay at the Bethsaida B&B.

The renovation of the existing chapel into holiday accommodation has been achieved without losing the character of the building whilst at the same time fulfilling the expectations of what a traveller requires of facilities in this day and age. Added to this the hosts were the picture of civility and helpfulness. We could not find fault with the service and all our breakfast food and drink requirements were accommodated. Any requests were given their full attention and dealt with immediately. All in all, they did all they could to make our stay as pleasant as humanly possible. Parking was not provided and had to be found on the street, which was a little bit of an inconvenience. Although the owner informed us that parking space was in the process of being found close to the premises and would be available within a short period.

Pretty little place

A beautiful space in a beautiful area. Service was very good. Lovely room. Jo was a lovely host. I would stay again and tell anyone I know to stay.

Spiritually uplifting ?!

It's a unique experience to stay at Bethsaida ! The family makes it special and the enthusiasm for the project rubs off on you. The transformation from chapel to B&B has been amazing and the attention to detail impressive ! All the rooms are different with the leaded lights in the windows reflecting each feature - we stayed in Gras / Grace . and the breakfasts are special too !

The conversion of the Baptist chapel has been so brilliantly done. It has a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere and Jo is so helpful and friendly.

Unique place to stay.

This is a converted Church and a unique place to stay. Excellent service and free use of the garden to soak up some sunshine. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Parking is on the village streets (no restrictions).

Quirky b&b with an excellent location

This B&B is set in a former chapel, which creates a unique setting. As it's so new (only open 3 years), everything is very up-to-date, clean and energy efficient. The staff are friendly and the location is brilliant (you can walk to various eating places, the St Dogmaels abbey and even to Aberteifi/Cardigan). This is definitely recommended!

Comfortable, clean and welcoming.

Great welcome and very nicely renovated building. Close to local pubs, shops etc and also the coastal path. No parking allocated to guests but plenty of free spaces on the road and in a nearby car park. Would stay here again.

Brilliant B n B

Absolutely brilliant. Hosts were exceptional and the conversation to the old chapel has left some period features intact. Lovely room, great breakfast ( in particular the sausages are mighty fine )

When in Coastal Wales, stay HERE!

Funny how when you travel, you're looking for attractions to see; well, Bethsaida B & B positively qualifies as a real sight to behold! Jo and her husband did a remarkable job of re-purposing a church into a beautiful B & B ( a labour of love, no doubt). To stay here and see the insides of the rooms, complete with stained glass windows, and oaken pew backs for bed headboards, is a real treat. My only regret is that we only stayed here for the one night, as I had already booked our roadtrip itinerary prior to our trip. It was fun to chat with Jo, and she packed us a great luch for our early departure for Snowdonia. This was my favorite place of our two-week roadtrip through England and Wales. .

Great B&B to explore the amazing coastline sights

A lovely B&B with lovely and helpful hosts. The B&B itself is a beautiful building and we loved that many of the previous church features still remained. The room my wife and I stayed in was spacious and very well maintained in terms of cleanliness and style; chocolates on the pillow were a nice touch on our arrival day. Breakfast was really nice each morning, cooked on order. Having stayed in many a B&B both my wife and I would have liked to see on the breakfast menu a little more exciting variety in terms of hot options such as having eggs Benedict, or a salmon or local fish infusion on the menu; we ordered the Welsh breakfast each day and we enjoyed it very much but it was also the most exciting option which is why we chose it each day. There is a cold breakfast buffet available in the breakfast room with fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt etc, as well as Orange and Apple juice to choose from, especially enjoyed while waiting for the cooked breakfast to arrive. The B&B hosts were especially great in their advice regarding what best to see and do in the area, as well as key sights to visit beyond St. Dogmaels. Their guest book in the room was a great source of information that helped make our 4 nights stay in Pembrokeshire amazing.

One of the most wonderful places I've stayed

One of the most wonderful places I've had the fortune of staying. With its beautifully converted spaces, luxurious rooms, characterful touches and lovely hosts I can say this is one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The service was faultless, breakfast delicious, and room clean, airy and comfortable. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and will be sure to return whenever I am in Wales, let alone the general area!

Great Retreat

This was our best accommodation during during our holiday in Iceland, England and Wales. The B&B is a former church converted to a family home and B&B. The conversion was really well done. It is a wonderful place to stay. The room was large and comfortable with a fully equipped ensuite bath. The room was very clean and pleasantly furnished and decorated. The breakfast includes continental buffet choices as well as hot kitchen choices. It is a great place to stay.

Very friendly family driven B&B. A converted church with its own history. To find it is important to know that High street in Cardigan is not the place, there is another high street (the correct one)in the small village at the outskirts of Cardigan on the other riverbank from the centre of town.
