"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"Lovely location. If required theres not a great signal for phone service and no WIFI. The house was tastefully decorated, we personally thought there could have been a few more kitchen items eg:- baking sheets for oven, bbq tools, grate for grill pan. Although the garden looks large the cottage is in the grounds of a larger house and unfortunately my French is not great but i was assuming the garden just surrounding the cottage was for our use and having a dog, the garden area was not enclosed...

"This property is really lovely. Guy and Valerie have made many updates to modernize and provide a great guest experience while maintaining the authenticity of the property! It is very well-appointed with everything you need during your stay. The property and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful! They are both very responsive and kind. "The actual hotel was closed and in a state of disrepair when we arrived. We had been moved to another hotel which did not feel at all legit. We left the city. Not a town to stay in. We returned to the quaintness of the countryside. "

"We stayed one Sunday night on way back to Cherbourg ferry. We were advised there was no point going in to town as it was late and nothing would be open. However the staff recommended the American steak bar next door and it satisfied our needs. Not very French but after a long drive a welcome place to stay and top up on the calories. "
