“KAÑIK is magical! Sebastian, Javier and crew made our experience beyond amazing. The service they provided felt like having a personal concierge. Want a dinner restaurant recommendation? They’ve got you! Not sure of the best transportation options? No problem! Want a Spanish conversation partner? You got it! The hotel itself is very intimate with only 7 casitas and surrounded by the most thoughtful landscaping to provide privacy on each house’s patio. The electrical is a bit funky. Mind you,……

“Un hotel pequeño pero acogedor, con amenidades para descansar de todas las actividades que hay en la zona por realizar o sitios que conocer. Habitación descente, que parece están en proceso de renovación, por lo que asumo que las camas y otros elemntos de las mismas se estarán renovando.”

“The bungalow was private and you can see toucans in your back yard. Isabella is amazing, she helped me order food for delivery in the rain, she helped organize excursions, she helped with bike rentals/organized tuk tuks, and recommended things to do around town/best sunsets. Anytime I am in Puerto Viejo I will stay at Villa Roca de Caribe for sure.”

“Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. ”

“A newly built apartment, small, well distributed, with spacious parking, located in a safe, quiet area, near the center of Puerto Viejo. The staff is very attentive and cooperative about to the needs of the guest”
