"I was highly impressed with the quality cleanliness and look of the place. The room was very comfortable and very well equipped with all the amenities necessary. The staff were extremely helpful in very friendly. From the main entrance is simple in appearance however when you walk through those doors and see the beautiful nature, it’s like walking into an oasis. I will definitely recommend this place."

"The property is huge with so much to do. There are about 9 pools, a water park and plenty of restaurants. However the restaurants food tastes bland. No seasoning whatsoever. To taste good food, you must leave the resort for a Bahamian meal. The casino is ok however there’s been games removed and new machines added. No more Buffalo slots and Whitney Houston slot machines are new. The jazz club has expanded to the Jon Baptist’s Jazz Club. It’s a party every night. It’s large inside and requires a 2 drink minimum to sit at a table. Overall the food is tasteless and expensive, the resort is beautiful and clean. The beach is amazing and there’s plenty of things to keep your children busy. So many kids! This resort has taken the place of the Atlantis on Paradise Island! So many kids around, even late at night around the casino. The resort has changed a lot within 2-3 years. They use to leave bottled water in your hotel room, I guess it became too expensive because now they leave empty water bottle containers with BaHa Mar on them which are refillable. You take them to the water dispenser and fill them. The staff were very accommodating and very nice. I appreciated the manager Ms Theresa"

"The entire staff were absolutely amazing especially the one gentleman attending the swim up bar (Manuel) who was so nice with everyone he helped. My only complaint was that the phone in my room was broken and they never came to change it after I mentioned it to front staff."

"Raw food served at the Palapa, waited 1 hour for dinner and the palapa, waited 1 hours at the Koa à la carte. We also waited over 1 hour for fish tacos at the rooftop pool. My travel partner got sick. When she called down for bottled water it took 2 hours. Many staff did not speak or understand English. Although I don’t expect this order something basic was often lost in translation. Getting coffee and water at the restaurants was always difficult. Place seems to be a tad run door and the doors in the room needed replacement. Jorge was assigned as a butler as a free upgrade which was a nice surprise and he did an amazing job. I’d say he made our vacation the best! At check in we were given a free upgrade however it was made to seem like he was doing us a favour BUT with Expedia a free upgrade is included. Victor at the pool was great always inclusive and making things fun! Overall this was an ok vacation. This is my second time here and I’m not sure I’d return. I’d describe this place as a budge resort but worth the price overall. You get what you pay for."
