“This lodge is far more than a hotel. It is an experience. They take excellent care of you. The food is amazing and the details in preperation is top quality. My spouse and I enjoyed the realxed atmosphere but also the activities. We went on the wildlife tour, the bat caves and snorkeling (arranged by La Loma). All were fun. “The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part is being on Lake Gatun. One morning we used a kayak to paddle a short way into the lake. It is really beautiful and relaxing. We like bird watching, and this is a great spot. The food and drinks were good and fairly priced. The only caution is that this property is on several levels, so there are quite a few stairs to get around. But this resort is so special, the steps were worth it.”
