Beautiful place

Beautiful place, functional apartment, very pleasant garden and swimming pool, shops nearby (by car), curtains are just missing in the two bedrooms

Villa Isella - Mansarda

Thanks for a wonderful stay in this luxury duplex! Our family felt so at home here! It was a really contemporary and well-equipped apartment. Its peaceful hillside location and the shared outdoor swimming pool was jsut perfect for our children. We'll be coming back!

Zuerst falscher Schlüssel ausgehändigt, dann schlecht zu erreichen

Die Schlüsselübergabe lief reibungslos im zentralen Ort am Comersee. Jedoch stimmte die angegebene Adresse schon nicht mit der Maps-Adresse/Navigation überein, sondern wir mussten anhand von Fotos eine Suchtour durch den Ort nach der entsprechenden Wohnung machen. Als wir diese schließlich gefunden hatten, passte der Schlüssel nicht ins Schloss. Es dauerte über 5 Anrufe, bis wir beim Vermieter jemanden erreichten und eine weitere Stunde, bis ein hauswirtschaftlicher Mitarbeiter uns schließlich den tatsächlichen Schlüssel vorbeibrachte. Leider konnten wir uns mit ihm nicht auf Englisch über eine entsprechende Entschädigung dieser Umstände unterhalten und haben auch im Anschluss niemanden mehr in der Vermietungsagentur zu dem Thema erreichen können.

Er zijn van deze Villa Isella verschillende websites in omloop. Wij gingen ervan uit dat wij een appartement zouden hebben met balkon o.i.d., in ieder geval dat je zo naar buiten zou kunnen. Was niet het geval. Meerdere trappen op (lift kan ook) en je kunt idd in de tuin met zwembad (moet je wel stoelen meenemen vanuit het appartement...). Nog het meest vervelende is dat je van te voren denkt dat je dicht aan het Pianomeer zit. Niets is minder waar. Het Pianomeer ligt beneden en naar Villa Isella moet je via een bijna onbegaanbare steile nauwe weg, waar je mag hopen dat je geen tegenligger tegenkomt. Accommodatie ligt zeer afgelegen, dus je moet de auto nog wel eens in.... Al met al viel deze accommodatie ons erg tegen en zouden wij deze iedereen met kinderen afraden. Het lijkt heel veel mooier dan het is!

Villa Isella - Mansarda

Thanks HHH for a really great few days in paradise! Our holiday home was so close to Lake Lugano, the small Lago di Piano and also the beautiful Lake Como. What a great place! There were so many great restaurants and activities to enjoy besides the pretty lake towns and attractions. Samantha and I have both fallen in love with north Italy! It is just breathtaking!
