The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. "The staff member that welcomed us and showed us to our room was friendly and the room was beautiful. The location is perfect for walking into Carlingford as you are right there in the town but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. I would definitely stay again!"

"A lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady who was front of house in the breakfast room. The room was spacious with comfortable beds- the only negative is the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms. As the window only opens a tiny bit we were roasted at night despite the small fan which was provided. Otherwise all was lovely."

"This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The building itself is stunning and the furniture fits in incredibly well and helps keep the hotels character authentic. The level of cleanliness was outstanding and you can tell the owners and staff take a genuine pride in making sure the hotel is kept to an exceptional standard. Breakfast was amazing, freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. Fantastic location with a train station 5 minutes walk away and a fantastic bar close by. Easy walking distance to the local town and bars but also not too close that noise becomes an issue. Would absolutely stay here again and if anyone is visiting the area I would highly recommend staying here."
