La Quinta Inn & Suites Carlsbad hotels

"If you are going to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, this location is perfect. Close, convenient, and clean. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The pool is available but the slides are only open on the weekend. That wasn't a big deal for us, but just including it in the review for others to know. I would definitely recommend staying in this location. There is a restaurant across the way called the Cactus Cafe.....they have EXCELLENT hamburgers, local craft beers, mainstream beers, and good old soda. There is also a gas station across the way. Everything you need."

"First time at a bed and breakfast. It sets a high standard for future stays. So spacious and beautifully decorated. Has everything you need. Host is super responsive and friendly. Loved it!"

"The mattress cover I’m guessing has some type of waterproofing factor that made my husband sweaty and not sleep well. It was noisy too as our room faced the Main Street. We like it completely dark in our room as well and it was not dark enough for us. Everything else and staff was GREAT!!!"
